I see a lot of food service jobs. I did that in high school--2 years at Hardee's. Which then became Carls Jr. Which then became Hardees again. I was so confused. Oh, and I'm a telemarketer now. |

A gun is not a weapon... It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator. |

Hey that's pretty cool Dave that was my very first job a few years ago when I was 16, I made $5.75. Now, if anyone on this forum can't figure out what my job is now then you deserve a backhand, for your idiocy. It is my third year at my latest job and I will be making $11.34 an hour base pay, with overtime and hazard pay on top of that a lot of the time...cha-ching! Not bad for someone my age, I don't think. |

i remember all those fast food jobs, then i did the millitary thing, then i decided to go with my dream and bacame a deep sea diver. i started out in the gulf of mexico working on oil platforms and in the oil fields. now i work for an inland company and i get to travel often, (too often). i live in eastern oregon, where our forum firefighter (jbird33) might see work if he lived in oregon or idaho. i make enuff money to support all my toys that i enjoy playing with when i am at home. i am currently thinking on donating the money to open a paintball field out here in timbuktoo country, but i am still fighting the courthouse on the zoning laws and what they wanna define a paintball field as. anyways, that's my career, my dream, and my life's work.

^^^I have fought my fair share of fire in Oregon and Idaho; made a 2 week trip to Idaho last season. I used to live in southwest Washington and I now live in northern CA so I have a good idea of the type of terrain and fuels in your area.

hahahaha im a cashier at Safeway, i hate my job, my pay (6.15 an hour to get my balls busted by stay at home moms and soccer coach dads), my bosses (except 3), i hate most of my co-workers, i hate the customers, if you come in my express lane...i hate you. Good thing i quit before i shot somebody. im a bum now but during the summer i will be a camp counsler and make like around 1500 for six chill weeks of playing with kids, hanging out with friends, and having a goood time. YAY it does get brighter at the end of the tunnel. plus its a day camp so i work like 6 hours out of the day five days a week...and the girl counslers....are smoking hot! Edited by A5pimp |
