Well you might have your R/T set to high and the bolt can keep up. So trun your R/T speed down alittle.

Dose it happen when your Co2 tank is almost epmty and can keep the same amout of prussere comeing to the R/T?

Do you need a new spring? Try Maddmann Spring kit.

Make sure your gun is oiled well.

Hope that helps!

This happens to my friend and I all the time. Our local p-ball shop owner told us that the rear bolt requires a certain amount of pressure to reset the rear hammer. This usually happens to me when my tank is low and it has trouble reseting due to the pressure loss.

It happened the odd time when my gun was stock but have had less problems after getting the R/T and polished my internals.

I personally think that with high rates of fire the tank's pressure is fluctuating so drastically it cant keep up with bouncing pressures. It doesn't help that the 98's internals are heavy either.

The only way to "cure" all of your r/t's problems including velocity spikes is through buying a nitro tank[comp air isnt required].  Another possible solution is to buy the vertical adapter and screw in the tank directly to the grip.  Its hard to play like that but some ppl can do it.  There is also a greater risk of liquid co2 getting into your gun too.  good luck....
