yea i only play wooodsball, (ONLY) nothing else. but im totally lost on what barrel to buy. i came down to 2 choices. i kno most people proably say flatline is best for woodsball. but woodsball does have its times when you find you self at close combat. so i might have to shoot fast at times. so i donno what to get. anyone with sugestions????? ------------- 98c Lapco Bigshot 12" blowback vents and soon to get- remote Stock Polished internals |

My flatline handles very well even in close combat. I'd go with the flatline if your going to be playing woodsball. ------------- Avoid shooting at birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc. or PETA members will try to ban paintball forever!

I would only suggest the Flatline if you have good paint and HPA. Until I got HPA my Flatline never gave me the accuracy I wanted. If you're stuck using bogus field paint, get the J&J. ------------- The sky darkens. In the distance you can hear the roar of the A-5. You shudder for you know it soon will be here. |

but there also price issues. flatline is like 100 bucks, J&J is only like 30-40 bucks. well theres a huge woodsball game coming up. with like 50 people. and i need to make desision fast!!!. i think ill go with J&J cuz for 1 its cheaper. 2. most people say its accurate. and 3rd, i wont have to buy the most expensive paint.
so do u think the J&J is worth it? its only like 40 bucks. and yes i know there are better barrels. hmmmm bigshot never thought of that. is the bigshot better then the J&J ceramic, if it is in what ways is it better? and how much is it?

go for the bigshot! personally I use a custom made 14" that incorperates a very slight bend(like the flatline) to give it about an extra 60ft of travel. it works just great! -------------

you wont really use more co2 the 14" will be a little more accurate but hardly noticeable so its a matter of choice. Ive got a 14" on mine but its a matter of personal preferance -------------

im not going to tell you what to get because i havent shot ever barrel but i can tell you from experience i have the flatline i shoot from an a-5 with r/t for paint i use mid-evil which works great for me and dosent cost much and i love it i too play woods ball and woods ball only and i have taken many of my friends out close and far with it i love it i dont regret buying it ------------- A-5 Flatline Barrel lpk tippmann reg R/T nitrogen tank red dot sight car stock from Vernon, Connecticut |

Upgrade yer co2 to HPA....you'll see and feel the difference, refilling co2 tanks are 2-3 bucks per refill, HPA tanks are 10 bucks or less and after the 1st refill, you can refill yer HPA tank as much as you want cus theyre free all day. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

I was about to get the Lapco Bigshot but the paintball store I go to(Bad Boyz Toyz) don't sell them so I bought the Dye Xcel(60 bucks) and I also only play woodsball, and the barrel is acurrate as h*ll by that I mean I was up a tree and about 40 ft or more I shot my friend right in the helmet.(What a great feeling it was) -------------

Exactly...MasterSniper. Do what everyone does when they go fer a day or more of paintballin....checkout the fields website or call them and look fer what they offer, especially those who are "self equipped", self equipped players hardly pay fer anything....mostly fer air suppy, entry fee and sometimes on field paint. Personally I go fer the fields that will state "bring your own paint" and when I say this, field paint doesnt always work to well wit what marker you might have. And fer those who "dont have" their own equipment will hafta pay a hefty price...thats the field's way of sayin..."get yer own gear and get into the game fer less". ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!
