Subject: Hot Rod M98 Fresh off the Grill
Date Posted: 10 June 2004 at 2:49pm

Latest work out of the SiN Custom shop.

original m98 receivers
-Shaved lettering
-Chopped rear sight
-Chopped trigger guard
-general shaving and smoothing

-deep red metallic powdercoat base
-orange to amber metallic hot rod flames pinstriped in deep red
-double clear coated for super strength

powerfeed, ex chamber, drop forward powdercoated to match, and a custom polished double trigger and vert adapter (i know the vert adapter is internal, but I like shiny parts)

So what do you think? I'm probably going to toss it up on E-Bay as a sort of "One Step M98 Upgrade Set"

I don't have all the internals it's just an upgrade package of sorts. You don't need to use much imagination to picture it all assembled, I even layed the parts out in there proper spots for the most part.

Honestly, I don't think it's quite a "Hot Rod." Yeah, it's flamed, but if you're going to do something with a "Hot Rod" paint job, it has to be a traditional style hotrod paintjob. Instead of the flames outlined with a barely visible red/orange, make it blue. Make them really stand out. You know what I mean.

Don't get me wrong, I love it. I just don't think it quite achieves "Hot Rod."

I'd be more likely to say that someone who presses the enter key a couple of dozen times before they post has too much free time kiddo.

Ashran, yea it'll probably lose cash on ebay but I already have my markers these were just spare bits that I had, so why not put together a nice package for someone. It's up there right now and ending pretty soon actually, for very cheap.

MILKMAN good to hear from you, your 98s design is still one of my most requested.

I think this is the third time saying it so sorry not to be rude but THESE ARE JUST PARTS I DO NOT HAVE THE COMPLETE MARKER SO PLEASE STOP ASKING FOR COMPLETED PICS!
Hopefully guys will catch that and read it before asking again for pics.

benttwig33 this adapter is just polished brass.

Hairball!!! there really is no rule that a car has to have loud bright designs to be a hot rod. Trust me I've been working on cars for 2 years now, and a lot of the most respected hot rods have very low key designs. I nick named this gun hot rod because I got the design idea out of a hot rod magazine, and red combined with polished metal and flames just says hot rod to me, and many others.

Staples haha yep for sure this is a speedball gun, I don't think you'd have to much look in outdoor ball unless you were playing in a forest fire

lol, yeah. Ur gun is pretty sick. Too bad you couldn't
play paintball in forest fires or else you'd be
unstoppable.

I don't so much mean a loud, bright design as much as a more stereotypical hot-rod theme. When the average person thinks of a hotrod, they probably think of something red with flames that stand out. As car people, we know that there are many more options than that. I personally love "ghost" flames, but to make something completely different, such as a gun, a "hot-rod" style thing, it needs to be like what most people might think of as a "hot rod."

man shutup, seriously, the gun looks sweet, and wtf do you want? him to make it an ACTUAL hot rod, cause thats what it sounds like you are saying....." oh put wheels on it, oh put a big block 427ci in it, then it wil be a hot rod"   quit your whining. Its more hot rod then your gun will ever be

BTW VERY NICE HOT ROD GUN
