Take a look at my Spyder Victor that I am making better! http://customspyder.mypicgallery.com/mpg/Route.asp - Here is the Spyder Here are the homemade mods I put into it or made.
I can shoot up to 10 bps and it can shoot over 300 feet per second, the stock only can shoot up to 274 feet per second just to let u know! This whole gun has been free for me so far. So i never planned on playing with it in a game or making it better with new upgrades. My friend said his Victor was broken so i took it n another one of my friends couldnt sell the barrel so he just gave it to me and the drop is my friends that he gave to me because the gun would look cool in which he thought. its awsome. get: new beavertail thing new barrel elec trig frame ("the one" frame is nice) or a gas thru / x chamber elec hopper mill it yourself it will look nice if u can get it milled

Yea, that is not customized. And most any marker can be adjusted to over 300fps with just a change of a drive spring. A friend got his spyder shooting at 450fps (just for kicks not for playing) just by cranking the adjuster all the way up. You shouldn't be shooting over 300fps for any reason unless you want to hurt someone though. If you like the marker then more power to you, but don't post it here as "customized", "pimped", "decked" or "tricked out" if it is indeed not. I think the great airsmith Doc Nickle puts it best on his classifieds page when he says: Posters calling their item "pimped", "sweet" or "tricked", or using more than one exclamation point, will be hauled out back and shot.
Also, you cannot reach 10bps on a mech spyder frame without the trigger being pneumatically operated somehow or the sear being modified heavily. Have you done either of these? A lightened spring and stop will not let you get 10bps. Thanks for sharing, but when we see customized in the title we want to see customized. You could make this into a really good gun as i am doing with a rodeo. When i had the stock frame on it with no trigger mods i could hit 13bps easily we tested it at my local store on their computer. Now with my ESP frame i can shoot considerably faster hadn't had time to test it though. Anyway you should really put your money into this gun and realy play with it. Show all these na-sayers that spyders are excellent. Most of you are thinking about old spyders the newer ones are AWESOME. I have never owned a tippmann and will never buy a tippmann just because everyone of my freinds except one have a tippmann. I want to be different. Spyders are very reliable now and my freind whos has an e99 has yet to have a problem with his gun and has had it over a year. And all my freinds have had problems with their tippmanns either leaking or not cocking back and some their trigger fames have fallen off. One of them was playing and the ASA fell off the trigger frame the screw were ripped out with just a 20oz on it. I love spyders and tippmann i just like the fact spyders are cheaper you can do more things with them and they lok better stock than any tippmann i have ever seen. -------------

number one any gun can shoot 300 fps number two there is no way you can walk 10bps with that trigger number three just burn the elec, hopper gravity feeds are better number four, if you call that upgraded, god help us all |

I like what you've done, but if you're going mech I'd get a tippmann, only reason I like spyders is for the cheap electros.

^^^ Moron alert. Spyders are nice guns if you set them up right. Only noobs say Tippmanns are better. Neither are better. They are both equally good in their own ways. Oh, and this forum is for all guns. If you can't handle that kind of thinking then scoot. there's nothing special about the victor 2 only that it has a fore-grip...they both operate the same. With the money you save by buying a victor then a 98c you can use the extra money to buy upgrades...like I did -------------

No, don't get a Tippmann. Keep your Spyder and upgrade it or when you want move up to a higher end gun. Stupid people annoy me. It doesn't matter what gun you have. And actually, a stock Spyder will outperform a stock 98 in every field except for efficiency. So shut your mouths. No, that Spyder is nothing special. But if you like it and play well with it then don't get rid of it just because these idiots tell you to. There are some great upgrades out there for Spyders as there are for Tippmanns. Both guns have their ups and downs. If you can't get it through your heads that neither guns are superior to one another, then please don't open your mouths.
