I have an A-5 and I'm trying to decide whether I should go with a remote or drop forward. I'm hoping that someone here can help me out with this one.

Well what is your playin style?

Woods you would maybe want the remote that way you can cralw on the ground better.

Speedball the drop would be better cause you can hug in clsoer to your gun and the bunker that youyr behidden.

But also, with a remote in speedball, that would eliminate the tank from the gun making it easier to move behing bunkers.  I also crawl just fine with a drop.

Its all just a preference.  I have friends that likes remotes... I on the other hand cant stand them so I like drop fowards.

Remember with a remote you have to wear the bottle on your leg/back which makes for a larger target when leaning around trees.

Its not that big of a targer.  Its almost the same as a regular pod pack that you wear on your back anyways.  Also I have never heard of wearing the tank on your leg...

Im starting to think that a drop forward would probably be best. That is kinda what the majority of people so far have said too.

What are some good drop forwards?

actually with my remote its in the middle of my pack where i hold the pods, so its not a target at all its hidden beetween the pods..., its all what u feel comfortable with, a remote to me is very comfortable and u lighter, than having the tank...and ur carrying pods anyway so why not the tank in ur pack, doesnt weigh much on ur back, and im sure some people like drop forwards for there looks rather than there function.. they do look cool, and it makes it look like ur gun is all hopped up, but i rather stick with function rather than form, your moving freely without extra weight, u cant go wrong... its all the look of a drop forward i think people are into, and the more people they see with a drop forward the more people want one..

I suggest this drop forward: http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item=2478 - http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item= 2478

It's great, reliable, and has an on/off knob so you can let out your Co2 from your gun without having to dry fire and twist and all that.
