My experience is unless you replace them every year macroline will leak. I go with steel.

Micro line or MACRO line? Micro line as I remember is low pressure only. Macro line has a working pressure rating of 1000psi and a max pressure of 3000psi.

If you install the connectors correctly, keep the catch for the hose clean and make sure the hose has a nice straight smooth cut on it you will never have a problem with Macroline.

The only time Macroline fails is if its surface has had some serious damage to it such as a major nick or cut. But the material itself is very tough and resilient.

I cannot say the same for Microline as I have never personally dealt with it.

P.S. I have been running the same Macroline for over a year now, not a single problem ever, so obviously I know what I am doing.

Macroline is strong and you can always "edit" the length on it. Like SnakeEyes said, as long as it's cut straight and isn't nicked anywhere, it will be fine.
