| I just got my double trigger.i am trying to walk it however it doesnt seem nearly as fast as just shooting it regularly.i have done a trigger stop mod and a clicky pen mod.the spring is as light as if there was no spring.also when i am trying to walk im do not have co2 in my gun.do i need a stronger spring or a even lighter spring or taking out the stop or gassing up my gun and testing it? |

Walking the trigger is nearly impossible with a mechanical trigger.
The characters you see getting megaBPS are using electronic triggers. The trigger is a microswitch with take-up and stop adjustments. With that kind of trigger you can walk super fast. With a mechanical trigger, you have a double trigger that looks super cool, and that's about all it's good for. ------------- United States Marine Corps.... Yeah Kevin is right. Its near impossible to walk a mechanical trigger. The trigger is for looks and some feel more comfortable with it. -------------  |

It's not impossible. People have been able to walk mech mags with the ULT and the Deadly Wind HAIR mod for mags is coming out. That'll bring the trigger pull down as low as 2oz. That's lighter than most electros! I'm thinkin it'll revolutionize the industry. I mean, a mech that can shoot faster than an electro? Sweet.
Ok, you want to walk your 98. Not gonna happen if you don't have the ebolt. Unless of course you figure some way to make the trigger pneumatic-operated like in a Deadly Wind HAIR. Now, even if you have an ebolt, you certainly need your gun to be gassed up to fire! With the ebolt, trigger stop, no spring and some adjustments to the roller switch, you'll probably be able to get some walkin going. if you want to walk with a 2x trigger you need to have the e grip. um i dont think you can walk wih the r/t. alot of people think you can but it feels like it cause of the bounce of the respoce piston. ------------- :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)::):):):):)::):):):):) |

| i have the rt, and its hard to walk bcuz it double fires, but it i bring the screw to were the speed is the fastest the sweet spot is hard to find and i can walk the trigger really fast, i did it at the range, i maxed at 16bps, walking not sweet spotting it |

o yea sorry bud but also i doesnt count when u have a sear to actuate the hammer and you have a 2 pound trigger pull to deal with. maybe you're not walking your trigger as much as you're "stomping the ground really hard"...ing your trigger. |

^^ i already have one. if your not willing to buy an electric kit. then yes its Hard to walk the trigger mech. w/ some modification you can easily walk the trigger. nothing is impossile you just dont want to believe it i would show you guys the vid again but PuPz host is down. i suggest you go to http://www.model98.net - www.model98.net those are your basic mods. makes the trigger pull alot better then stock PM me if you need help

I have shot at least 500 balls through an a-5 w/an rt and a DOP 2x trigger. I have also owned a 98 for over a year. The objective of walking a trigger is to not press it down so hard that your getting a fairly low rate of fire hitting the upper and lower grooves of the trigger. All the guys at my field admit you can't walk a mechanical tippmann <and some of them are pretty buff, which im sorrry to tell you doesnt exactly help pulling a trigger with your fingers  >, get over it.

Please explain your definition of walking. There is something very fishy about being able to walk an r/t by definition. An r/t resets the trigger by force. ya i analyzed his shoots true many process to see whats going on. and the very first shoot (0-.20 sec) was a sweet spot of 2 fires the next shoot (.21-1.2 sec) the middle finger was off the trigger but the index finger still on the trigger causing sweet spot of another 2 fires the shoot after that (1.3-1.10 sec) both fingers were on the trigger causing sweet spot of another 2 fires and so on and so forth what i see is slow walking w/ mostly sweet spoting so its like this index, sweet spot 2 shoots (.20 sec) middle, sweet spot 2 shoots (.20 sec) index, sweet spot 2 shoots (.20 sec) middle, sweet spot 2 shoots (.20 sec) index, sweet spot 2 shoots (.20 sec) total of 1 sec 10 bps

| good analysis, i guess thats what going on lol, but since all i heard is straight shots when im pulling th trigger fast its something like walking to me, since i keep moving my finger... im gonna take my rt off and try it, lets see if i can walk it then... |
