Ok so heres the deal, my gun was originally silver back in '99, then I got it painted matte black about 3 months ago, and its already rubbing off due to not putting a clear coat on over the black (didnt want it to shine and give me away) So to get to the point, im thinkin about powder coating it black. Anyone ever heard of doing that, and would the powder coat stick to the aluminum that 98's are made of? Powder coat's would work. www.KPCustoms.net did some nice powder coating... ^^^Hmmm....that doesn't count as a censor (baxxt signal) lol Powder coat is tuff stuff. My trailer is powder coated.
EDIT - I was reading your other thread which got locked. Someone mentioned not puting your gun in the oven. Actually, baking the last layer of clearcoat at less than 150 will make it a stronger finish. It will stink up your house though. -------------
