i would personally save up your money for a while and upgrade the A-5 little by little. you would still have money and you would get upgrads. just buy an upgrade here and there and call it good for a  while.

Really w/ an Autococker, it doesn't matter what kind of game you play, unless its stock class

I would play w/ the A-5 for a while, get the money for the autococker, then sell the A-5 and buy ups for the cocker.

eeeh mech cockers are over rated.

Keep the a5 till you can get something like a nightkast.

man, if it was me, i'd keep the a-5 it uber mod it to look like real guns. actually that's what i'm doin right now with mine. but if the looks aren't what your into, well... don't. if you're not into that, upgrade the a-5 with a new barrel, and then save up for the cocker. barrel is important.

Man let me tell you, autococker shoot really awesome.  No sound no recoil no nothing.  But in the end I just decided to keep my A-5.  No sense in me spending $1500 on a cocker when I dont even play that often.  But cockers are nice they really are.  A pain to get right.  But once you do get it right they shoot really good.

I was asking myself the same question, upgrade my A-5 or get a new gun...  In the end, I spent my money on the R/T, double trigger, Low Pressure kit, and the HPA tank.  Played with it recently, I can't be happier.   Saved at least $1k then buying a new gun...

i was planning on getting a flatline but i only got $200 saved so far. if i get the flatline im at about $50.

and i really like speedball guns. especially autocockers.

im planning on makin a team with some friends, practice for a while then entering (rookie)tournaments.  my friends already want to start a team so i dotn think it will be a problem.  the feild i go to is $15 for the whole day so practicing wont be very hard. they have like a practice day to thats the day before the tournaments(i dont know if all feilds have that or not).  i get $10 a week so i have about 8 months adding money i get for mowing lawns and stuff.

but the cocker that i want to get is a pretty cheap one compared to the other ones ive seen. the one i want to buy is a KAPP Relfex cocker and is $600 other ones like the nightkast are $1025. is this a ok cocker to get or should i not spend my money on it?

only go for a cocker if:

a) its wgp
b) you have the money to support it (nitro, fast hopper, etc)

No listen to me, upgrade your A-5 with a E-Grip, Barrel, and hopper. Theres really no point of having an autococker if you dont have an EBlaDeD on it. I used to have an stock autococker except a new barrel then i got it eblaDeD. The autococker was soo slow!!! The hinge trigger is soooo stiff, the only way you can get like 10 bps is if you spaz out and fan your trigger like a mad man. Unless you have the money to get an SuPeR StocK autococker(2k3 vertical autococker with E-BlaDeD already installed) then you really should just upgrade your A-5 with an E-Grip and maybe a paint job This way you can have the good looks of the autococker with the speed close to the eblade.

Actually, you should have not bought the A-5 and get an autococker with E-BLaDe. Cause whats really the point of having an stock A-5, at least get the RT trigger

So trust me

Good Luck

I agree Cockers are over rated junk. Upgrade your A-5. An upgraded A-5 with an E-grip will be faster then a stock mechanical cocker and it will be 10 times more reliable and durable. With the A-5 you also don't have to worry short stroking, timing, and crapping paint. Go with the A-5.

A-5 if you want to go milism (make it look like a real gun) and play a
lot of scenario or woods ball.

If your into the tournaments and speedball then go with the cocker.

I say go with the cocker it's a much more diverse gun, a-5's are nice but when you get down to it the cocker is better, that or really save your money and get a impulse with vision there really great markers

yes the a-5 has automatic upgrading capabilities, but the cocker it may as well be a automatic, I know, my buddy has one.

I want an A-5 as well. Stick with it. If you get an e-grip and a flatline, it is much much much much much much much much much better.  More reliable 2.  Get a dressup kiyt for it to make it look like an mp-5 or m-16 and it would be even better. Beleive me

WGP (wOrrgames paintball) is the original cocker maker.  every other "cocker" by a differnt company is considered a Focker (fake cocker).  WGP makes great guns, and if i had to chose between your a-5 and cocker...i would go with a cocker.  preferrabvly a pro-stock (03/04 vertical cocker) 03's a cheaper, but 04's are newer with newer and better parts.
