boomy=better simply out of the fact that it was half the price and gets the same results because paint to barrel match isnt all that big of a deal from my experiences
and my halo caught on fire once, my egg feels like its going to snap in half and the only reason i would keep it is if i can use it to load my q pods easier and my q loader hasnt given me a single problem yet so i dont see why i would keep other loaders... ------------- "They were convicted in federal court of pennsylvania for a telemarketing scam involving invention and patent fraud." |

that is a chord body and personally i think its the best body style (although im obviously biased) and the halo fire story isnt all that interesting, i was working on my impulse which had the halo on it (what a surprise my impulse was broke...) and all the sudden i smelled melting plastic and i was looking all around and finally i saw the inside of the loader was on fire, (i mean the electronics compartment in the back, i quickly removed the battery pack and disconnected that so the batteries wouldnt burst then the fire died out a couple seconds after a little bit of blowing my toxic breath on it. my thinking for why it happened was a bad batch of halo upgrades(this was at a time when halo b's just came out about a month ago, and i heard it happen to atleast 2 other people who got stuff done to their halos at about the same time as me) or that the crappyness of the impulse spread like a poisoness disease into the halo. to this day im leaning more towards both since my experience with odyssey in general hasnt been that great (sent that loader in 3 times to get fixed and they send it back broken, this time its all working but they sent me a broken battery pack!) ------------- "They were convicted in federal court of pennsylvania for a telemarketing scam involving invention and patent fraud." |

i do like to show off pics whenever i get some even better pictures, i like these because the gun that inspired me to make that gun was taken on a glass table like that one and it reflects the colors in a perfect way. besides i just gave the entire gun a nice bath last night (literally i took everything apart and washed it in some soap and water and dried everything off, good thing i did i found a melted ball in the barrel lol)
and i have no idea what it costs i think i summed it up last time at somewhere around 1600 or something to that effect and already scratched the anodizing quite a bit lol im sorta rough with my guns. lol well i just gave my trigger a tune up too and it feels better than ever, the magnet was getting pulled out of the top of the trigger giving a bad return and there was a little sticking of the accual trigger too so i popped that magnet in nice and good and put a little oil on the pivot of the trigger and it feels like a new gun :)
and you can read the LED screen if you look hard enough but you never need to see it except to change settings which i dont change any i just leave it the way i have it so there isnt a problem in that regard. needless to say i made this gun to work in my hands and pretty much noone elses lol ------------- "They were convicted in federal court of pennsylvania for a telemarketing scam involving invention and patent fraud." |

A million shots! I still can't get over how beautiful that emag is...the chord and the cnc battery housing and especially that blue just tops it off. Do you find that the Q gets in your way though? I admit I do like that positioning over the under barrel which I have always disliked, but idk it seems like it would become an annoyance to me since I would tend to grasp the battery housing as a forward grip. Either way, it rocks. -------------

theres nothing you can really see with a profile picture since the q loader and its ghetto rigging covers up most of the gun.
with the q in that position i can still hold the battery pack pretty well and depending on what position im in its most of the time easier to just hold the pod or mount itself (not as much of a strech for my arms and alot more easier and stable then trying to hold the asa) ------------- "They were convicted in federal court of pennsylvania for a telemarketing scam involving invention and patent fraud." |

anyway in regards to the q loader insulters with no reasonable reason, you are a moron. you never tried the loader, you dont know how it works, you never seen it probably either (especially since its behind the bunker unlike your hopper most of the time) now that being said, i dont notice things like weight distribution but there is definantly a slight left weight but its nothing that would throw me off balance. and its defiantly back heavy which is how i like it because its easier to aim, digs into my shoulder better, etc. however, the gun isnt all that heavy completely loaded up with everything (something like 8 and a half pounds or something i forget) ------------- "They were convicted in federal court of pennsylvania for a telemarketing scam involving invention and patent fraud." |

i spaced out the q loader from the gun slightly since those pictures for better hose clearance which makes it a bit easier to hold it as well (although it was easy to before, just that some things would poke when i didnt want it to poke on occasion)
pretty much the most compact you can make an entire gun setup minus a tiny barrel which i dont like to have anyway... and q loader is a personal preference its something you need to try before you make an opinion, and in regards to appearances, function over form... ------------- "They were convicted in federal court of pennsylvania for a telemarketing scam involving invention and patent fraud." |
