the x-valve's recharge rate is about 26 bps.   i haven't shot any paint through it yet, just dry fired.  but when i get it all set up I should be able to shoot pretty fast... i can almost walk my friend's mag which is pretty much like mine.

edit: surgery was for tonsils, and i love the trigger pull even how it came stock, but i know i can get it lighter and what not.

cost me $550 from my local shop.  Not that bad of a deal and I don't mind spending a little extra cash at the local shop.  Might as well keep em in business.

I had my tonsils taken out.... so in my mouth youm0nt... they also hacked a chunk of my uvula off too because the doc said it was really long... that jerk!

about the asa... thats the one that came stock... let me save up a few bucks before i get a rail or a uni-mount.

nice, and those ULE bodies are cocker threaded right?, so you got a bigshot (or autospirit) too, i actually think a SMALL drop would help alot, like the CP, something just big enough to burry the reg,

and i might suggest running the hose into the fore grip and out from that to your ASA, it may be a little cleaner as a grip, just a thought,

nice tho, very nice

Tom Kaye is a genious and he can't figure out how to route a freaken hose without making it look weird.

I also hate that Foregrip with the metal thing, with a passion

Anyways, looks nice though.

^yea those foregrips are really ugly.
Other than that it looks nice.

things i have planned:

1.  really small drop or unimount... just want to get rid of the reg stickin out.

2.  take dremel to the foregrip mounting bracket  so that the foregrip sits closer to the trigger guard.

3.  either run SS hose through the grip or get a macroline kit for it.  If I run SS i will throw a couple quick disconnects in there along with a slide check probably.

I just got a similar mag. Only difference is that mine has the ULE milled out rail (with adjustable foregrip slot), a black trigger, and it used to have an a black aluminum foregrip bracket instead of stainless steel.

Since then I've taken off the bracket, put on a unimount (the stock ASA ripped EVERY o-ring I had), and a lapco autospirit.

VERY nice gun.

Sounds like a "FragMag" to me.

u guys act like uve never seen a mag b4. it aint that special, once he gets a cool body and rail, and posiibly a intellifeed link (the whol point of the intelliframe) it will be sick

Posted By: procarbinefreak
Date Posted: 08 September 2004 at 10:58pm
eh... i just like the look of the intelliframe and trigger.  I am debating whether or not to pop for a karta body/rail or not.  its a lot of cash.

by the way... i now have a mini drop with a cp asa.  the tank has a perfect feel to it now.  i miss my digi cam .  I am also debating if i want to get a snapshot for it.

and the best thing i like about my mag... when people shooting electros give me crap about having a mech gun.... i walk the trigger... and they shut up.

It is in fact a FragMag...

I personally wouldn't get a karta body. The only thing you COULD upgrade would be the rail. Get one that is milled out and has more mounting options for the foregrip. Other than that, I don't think the karta bodies or anything like that would be worth the cash you pay for it.

As for getting a snapshot, see if you can't pick up a used bigshot/autospirit first. You can get em around 30 bucks each used if you look, and that way you'll have a couple different bore sizes yet still have Lapco quality. I honestly don't like the whole 2 piece thing or the extra porting on the snapshots anyways. However, 1 piece lapcos rule.

Posted By: procarbinefreak
Date Posted: 10 September 2004 at 1:36pm

the only reason I would get a karta body is if i had some extra cash for paintball laying around.  Which will most likely not happen considering i'm in college... lol.  I could definitely sell my ule body and come up with a good chunk of change that way for it... but like you said, i see it as not worth it right now.

As for the barrel... chances are i'll go for the snapshot.  i've used bigshot on both my cocker and A-5... i like em... but i wanna check out the snapshot too.
