you like??? that's what ops gear will do for you, oh yeah, that's a bad "donkey" gun alright. e-grip coming soon.

edit: alrighty, now that i know that the pic owner uses these forums, i don't wanna take away from his gun. with no webcam i searched the ops gear forums (because i hoped that someone woulda bought the same mp5 kit) for a pic of the mp5 setup similiar to mine. well whatever his name is had this pick, and it was exactly the same as mine because he detached the bottomline. that's how i run my gun, with a remote running directly from the gun. this edit was to give credit back to the owner of the pic, but also so ya'll still know that this is my exact setup (and color, because ops gear will paint your gun the color you want).

what kinda barrel?

mod your mag to go over the tombstone, it looks better that way.

uh, it's the stock barrel. i'm gonna change that, but i'm not sure how a 14" j&j ceramic will look with that grip, it might be firggin awsome, and it might not be. i dunno. hey if you haven't already, check out my post in the new player's area, its title is somethin like, "muahaha..." somethin like that. give me your opinion. i'm welcoming the improvement.

very nice, and i usually like the mag over the tombstone like a5 bunkerking said, but for some reason without your gas line on or somethign about it i like it that way and i think it looks good. I wouldn't go with a 14 inch jj, i would go with 8 inch lapco bigshot, same size as stock barrel (i beleive) and it will shoot much better and still look awesome.

Don't get night vision. It's like buying a dragster. It's expensive and you might use it only 2 or 3 times in it's life time. Althogth it is cool as hell.

I wouldnt get the NV. Unless you get surplus Russian crap youre going to be spending alot more than you would on a DM4. Anyway real Marine Recon doesnt need NVGs. Great looking gun though. I prefer the collapsible stock like the one on the MP5N.

Meh...

I think it was better when people did their own homemade/real gun parts to it (thompsonshooter for example)

Now anybody can just drop a few bucks and have their own completely unoriginal mp5.

Also, they tippmann a-5 little plate kind of takes away from it being an mp5, so no, I didn't think it was a real mp5.

It was also better when the mags were in place of the gas line. This is more realistic, and also shows that it was a homemade job and not a simple drop in piece.

Where have all the jefangels and thompsonshooter's gone???

Very nice, definately get an e-grip and make that thing rip, also a new barrel and some sort of sight would polish it off nicely.  9/10

thanks everyone, and to "itsjustme":

i appreciate your opinion, and i actually do make my own mods for example, just today i finished my surpressor for my J&J ceramic, and lemme tell you, IT WORKS. that was the best feeling when i shot it and it actually works. i haven't run any paint balls through it, so i don't know how it's going to affect the accuracy, but for some reason if it does, i can mod it some more. but how would i be able to make a grip like that? lol, if you've got a way to do that and have it look that good, lemme know, and i might do it. and about the clip, i myself like it better where it is, but i appreciate ya'lls opinions. and i also agree with the "tippman a-5" plate thingy, but rremember, i just got this stuff, i haven't had much time to change n e thing.

naw, mercanary was talking about what i said earlier about my custom made surpressor. yeah, they are illegal, but there are ways to get around that, i just gotta look em up. for example, people can own full auto weapons, dd's, sub machine guns, the works, there's just ways to get around stuff. but that'd be a little ridiculus to raid my house because i made a silencer outta pvc, pipe foam, electrical tape, and other household items. lol, you never know though.

isn't that awsome that it works though?

uh buddy that would be because you have the exact same gun setup as me. i don't have a webcam. i was goin to post the pic from opsgear but it always came up with a red x. so i went to the forums at opsgear. that is EXACT setup. i run a remote off of mine, i don't know if that's what you do with yours. hell if i new you were at these forums i woulda said somethin about it being a diff pic. it's not like i'm tryin to take credit for your gun(even though the pick isn't mine) but how else am i sposed to post a pic?

^ Your clip is too verticle IMO. It looks kinda goofy with the barrel sticking out that far.

But Recon you can do what i am going to do. I already have a ceramic barrel for my a-5 but if you get the fake 1911 supressor and stick it on the tip it looks pretty sweet and realistic. I have basically the exact same setup. I'd show you but hunt101 is down.

Oh yeah and by the way paintball silencers arent really that illegal, one and only reason being... NOBODY CARES! (nobody includes anyone who works for the government)

yeah, i really made the actuall working surpressor for fun, but it was awsome when it worked. i do like the J&J on there, and thanks for the pic deelux, and i'll also probably make a surpressor for goin on the end, that'll look cool, cept the one i'll put on there'll be for looks only. i got a question, will it effect accuracy/quietness or lack there of if i have a surpressor (non functional) over the porting?

Only because I have a Palmers Regulator in the clip   To me the barrel gives it a carbine look, but to each his own. And I'd take points off for looks and keep the 14" J&J than go with the stock barrel

No prob USMC_Recon, the surpressor prob wouldn't hurt the accuracy, but the porting keeps the barrel quiet, so I imagine if you cover them up it'd be louder. Good luck on the mods though!
