What should i get, an expansion chamber or a regulator? I heard a regulator is only if you have nitro, but my bro and his friends have them and their guns save air, so i was wondering which one i should get.

a reg is a much better investment because it make your gun more accurate.  dont get an x chamber

If you buy a Regulator you might blow the guage with C02, and if your running c02 get the Expansion Chamber, You'll have more Consitant Shots.

Regs dont make your gun more accurate it just Helps you with Consistancey, and makes your n2 last a bit longer.

dont get the black magic reg unless ur using HPA not CO2. like paintball panda said, it could blow the gauges and freeze up the reg. an expansion chamber is hollow inside (usually) and gives the CO2 room to expand so ur not shooting snow. regs are full of springs and o-rings that arent really made for CO2. if u want a good reg for CO2 then get the palmers staballizer. also if u bought an expansion chamber and then decided to upgrade to HPA then it will be a waste of money because expansion chambers do nothing for HPA and sometimes hinder the performance. palmers staballizers are meant for HPA or CO2.

Yes, they're expensive. If you don't have the budget for one, just go x-chamber. An x-chamber is good enough.

exactually.   if your gonna stay with co2.  get a x-chamber.  if your gonna get hpa tank. get a reg.   that simple  if u get a x-chamber get a x-core

I was thinking about getting a Dye Hyper inline2 reg.  do I really need to get the GTA low pressure kit before I install it?  The only diff I see in it is that it puts an extra chaber in the line that appears to work like a X-chamber.  Is it really neccissary?

Easy... Regulator, It makes your shot more consistant (increasing accuracy) exp. chamber only takes out liquid, which so does the anti-siphon, except the anti-siphon is cheaper and does the job better. Get reg and anti-siphon.

i agree. if you have the money get a palmers. dont get a reg unless your gonna ge switching to comp air. with c02 you have to clean your reg all the time and its not good an them. x chambers work just as good for c02 as any reg will.

perfectly said.  go with the palmers if u have cash.  also a boblong torpedo for a lower pressure gun.  there r also cheap regs on ebay called ergos.  they run for $30.00 plus shipping.  i have one on my spyder and i have co2 and it works great.  but get the palmers if u have the cash.  also, it is simple to not blow a guage.  dont put one on! they r not very accurate anyways.  and regs dont require cleaning. (at least mine hasnt).
