Hey Everyone!

I have purchased an A-5 with a flatline, E-grip, and a remote system and this gun seems to own.

However I was thinking of upgrading it with either and M-4 commando foldable stock or the AK-47 sniper stock and a sling.  What do you guys think? Recommend any other upgrades for my gun?

                                                                            Thx

How so? when playing speedball or woodsball or both in general.  I don't have one and can't speak for myself, but am looking to get one maybe down the line, actually i don't even own a paintball gun but am getting one hopefully soon.  I guess it boils down to preference.

well the reason i htink they get in the way is because i dont shoot a paintball gun like you would shoot a rifle. in speedball the stock is heavy, protrudes out in small bunkers, gets in the way when you are trying to play angles around bunkers and in woodball i just dont like to carry the extra wieght

Dont get a stock.  Unless you want to play scenarios and for a "real gun look" dont get it.  Its a waste of money and it makes the gun too long.

My Gun:

I've played twice and I find myself naturally holding the paintball gun to my shoulder using the tank.  So if a drop forward is installed and a carbine stock added, then this should offset the weight anyway.  This is just my opinion though and I can definitely see a stock getting in the way when playing speedball.  It all depends on everyone's preference of holding their gun, wallet size, and look of the gun.

I am more interested in Woods and Scenario play.  I also would like to have more of an assault rifle look since the A-5 is known for a high ROF and that is the style I like.

here's what to do. dont get the stock and go out and get an X-Chamber. they help create liquid CO2 into gas CO2 quicker to make it shorter than saying what it all does. trust me on this one. also save up for the nitro tank if you wanted.

or, if you think using a stock would benefit your game possibly, buy a used one on ebay or something, get a raised sight rail, and try that puppy out, after all, noone but you knows what feels most natural for you...

Stocks are pretty much useless, unless you want yer marker to look like a milsim and it wont perform any better than it is now.

1) say if your remote line breaks (unlikely) and you dont use the vertical adaptor its useless, you have the tank as your stock

2) i have the standard stock for the a5 and i will admit it does keep a steady aim, but the top part of the stock gets in the way so if you try to aim you will aim too low, and scratch your face up.

3) stocks break pretty easily

4) my stock shakes and makes alot of noise and gives your position away.

in my opinion save your money for something else like a nitro tank

How much better is nitro compared to Co2?(shots per tank, constant velocity, accuracy, distance, efficiency)  Because with the feedback that I'm getting, I'm thinking of going for a Nitro tank instead of a stock.

(sorry i didnt respond ive been gone a while)

i like the stock imo. i really dont know the difference between nitro and co2 except the co2 is cold and nitro is warmer to me in the winter i would use nitro and summer co2. but i have no clue at all i dont have one try asking your local paintball shop.

Just say no to stocks.

I had a three postion collapsible stock for my A-5 and while it looked cool...it was unwieldy and made sighting difficult. Needless to say, it was removed.

Well that depends on what type of game play you gonna use yer milsim on....woodsball or scenarios?
