Not bad. maybee a couple coats of clear would really make it look better and would also protect your new paint job better.

I'd like some new grips, But they would have to be black (maybe w/ blue on the grip, but mostly black) to even out the Black/ Blue balance. However, i want to spend my money on performance upgrades before comfort/looks upgrades.

Krylon Fushion. Krylon clear coat. I don't like double triggers. I want a reg, but im short on cash. Send me some $$$$$$$$ and youll have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped out a guy in need and he now has a better gun because of it. (preferably around $50!  If you an't afford it, then i sujest we start the Hash*tashi Charity fund! "WE won't stop until we raise enough for a reg and HPA and E-Bolt!"

Yeah. An X-Core comes next. Other than that I dunno. I have $135, but I can't spend all of it (and don't want to spend most of it). I could spend half, maybe. But, that's only like $70. I cover the gun when in woodsball. I use camo mesh (cut to fit) and zip ties.

^You can spend half of that huh?  I say drop it on r/t, for a firepower upgrade.  As far as an expansion chambers go, I say don't get one and save for a reg or stab.  My opinion though.

IMO, my gun shoots pretty well with just the barrel. I just want to stop shooting snow. Some people swear by an anti-siphon and an X-Core. Others like regs, but I really will never have that much cash. I don't like the R/T either. I shot a gun with one. It worked good, but not $70 worth. I wish i could make my own, but im not talented enough. I wish that I could test out a reg and X-Core, but i don't know anyone who has either (I don't live in a town big in size or on paintball). Do you own one? If so, could anyone tell me how much of a difference that $60-70 makes by going Palmer?

Palmer stab/reg will put out an ajustable gaugeable consistent liquid-free pressure, that is reliable.  It will work with co2 and HPA, so you can keep it and put it on just about any gun there is, and not to mention it's built by a company who stands behind teh products.

An x-chamber will also give more consistent pressure, but you can't adjust the output, you can't install a gauge without modification, it won't work with low pressure HPA, and in my opinion it doesn't look as good.  Just my opinion.

Don't want a gauge. Don't want HPA period. And don't care about looks of an X-Core. So, can I ask of someone to answer the inital question? Is it worth 2 months of working to have a palmer over an X-Core?

i would have left the front grip black and the neck black and then polished the lettering instead of painting over it. it also needs a clear cloat to make it look "finished"

still looks nice though

Thanks. It has 2 Clear coats. When I touch it up and have some time, im gonna put another 2-3. It looks sloppy because of bad lighting and my hand isn't dead steady with a video recorder as a digital camera. Ill get some better pics on a tripod when i get an X-Core (which i have almost decided on). I know I should have left the front grip black to balance it out (it was a pain to paint anyway). I dunno about the elbow though. If you notice, that is a large screw and a bolt in the elbow (the stock one fell off one day). I tried painting it, but the dang thing is so hard to screw in that i had to use a wrench and it scratched the paint.

He said that it doesn't LOOK as good. The only thing that he said that even mattered to me was that it was built to last. Maybe you should read. He said nothing about the X-Core being cheaply built. So basicaly, he only said one thing that really helped, but he didn't compare it (don't get me wrong. I appreciate the post and help a lot. But I am just pointing out that there was not the information I needed so that someone wouldn't think that I already had anything I need and may post again.) Sorry if it came off wrong, I  was having a bad day.

I got a double trigger and a nitrogen tank (Rufus Dog Tigger, don't like it, and a 48 c.u. inch 3000psi PMI Pure Energy tank.  I got it for nearly free, so i couldn't pass it up.)  I tried to get some pics up, but my camera is goin crazy.  I haven't shot it with the nitrogen yet because I can't find anywhere to fill it, but I'll see how it shoots with the nitrogen soon and tell you guys.  As far as new upgrades go, I'm saving up for a Palmer.  I was really close to getting an in-line, but my remote is missing some pieces.  My cash level is still about the same, but is sorta locked up.  I'm selling a Pirahna SRT with the electronic grips for $70, a PS1 for $20, my mom borrowed $20, a friend will be reapying me $10 tomorrow, and i have a 10 in my wallet.  I plan on finding some part-time oddjobs soon, so as soon as I raise up some more cash, I may buy the male Palmer with all the stuff to go with it.

The paint has become scratched after playing some woodsball, and I am thinking of painting it green next time.  I still have over half a thing of clear coat left, so all i have to do is get the paint.

I am open for suggestions (more-so this time) if anyone has any input that they would like to add.  The pics will be up soon
