Hello Everyone,

First off I would like to tell you all that I am more than satisfied with your product. To be honest it more than exceeded my expectations. I have an A-5 Stock with 20oz. Well the gun isn't mine, it's my dad's(I use an autococker, a rather nice one). But he let me use it once, I first tried the gun out using CO2 which was more accurate than i expected. Then I let my dad use my 68ci and that thing was soo quiet(not as quiet as my gun) and it was soo much more accurate. Second this thing never chopped one ball, only broke one ball out of the entire case. I really liked the feel of the gun, it was very sturdy and built like a rock. When I played speed ball with this it was ok. Not that impressed with the feel of it. Since I'm more of a close quarters person...it's sort of hard to move with it because it's longer than my cocker. But overall this gun rips. Shot faster, shot accurate, and never chopped. The only thing i had trouble was with cleaning...boy this thing is a pain. I stripped down the entire gun. I got shot in the gun about 3 times. It's a little more time consuming than an autococker.

Well sorry, I just had to tell you guys about my little story.

I was wondering what would be some good upgrades for my gun except a new barrel and an RT. Everything on the gun is stock. I'm not very familiar with the A-5 very much (starting to get to know the gun). I have a nitro tank ( i have two nitro tanks so I usually let my dad use the larger one when I play pump).

Well I'd like to thank all of you in advance...well thanks

if u plan on going to tourneys then switch to e-grip and get a flatline or a ultralite barrel which i find good and get an lp kit to raise the consistency of nitro air flo to ure gun and a bob long regulator

No do not get the R/T for the A5, the e-grip is only 60$ more and so much Better! Also look into getting either a Blade or a double Trigger so you can Sub-walk the Trigger, A new barrel would also be important, I Suggest getting a 12" LapcoB bigshot. Later on you may want to talk your dad on getting a Low pressure kit, that Thing would Rip with low pressure and E-grip.

Welocme!

Glad to hear it! I suggest an E-grip with a JCS blade trigger over the RT as for barrels the Lapco Big shot is a Great choice. The next thing I'd do is to get a small drop or a uni-mount. Taking it apart should only take you like less than a minute pull out all push pins screw the velocity screw all the way in. remove grip from/tombstone adapter and  all the internals slide out the back..

Good Luck!

Welcome to the forum

Ask your dad to give you his A-5 and I'll take the cocker.

I really will!

Ummm dude egrip is a bit more. Geez you have 31 posts a day okay anyway. I wouldn't get the r/t because sometimes its not allowed in tournaments. You should check with your field first. If you are allowed to use it I would get the r/t over the egrip. Egrip is hard to get set up and is very easy to break. The r/t is a tough system. It'll keep up everywhere your a-5 can go.

If yer constantly goin to use the A5 fer speedball, get the E-Grip, the RT isnt allowed in some fields (someone is gonna say otherwise) and as fer the barrel ferget the Flatline, go fer the Lapco Big Shot and btw....WELCOME TO THE FORUM.
