Don't you people think there should be some sort of like "armor"
in scenerio cause it would be cool cause i got like a million ideas for armor but cause there are no armor things it would look cool but be useless. It would be kinda like body armor it protects the are where the armor is. The only thing is people would probably abuse it . |

There already is some body armor stuff made for paintball out there, but most of it is either 1. Too bulky/ Hard to move in or 2. Too darn hot with all the heat of a paintball game. -------------

no what I mean the armor would like enalde you to get hit like 2
times before you get elimineted. EX: you are wearing "armor" on your chest and you get hit then you are ok but if you get hit again there you are eleminated. |

| it's too hard to move in plus, it is useless it doesn't hurt that much plus i love gettin lit up i think it's awesome. i see what your sayin though just have a game where you can get shot once in the chest and be in till you are shot again, you don't need physical armor though. sometimes we play only torso and head counts arms and legs below the knee don't count and it's two to the chest or one to the head to get eliminated. |

U know, i hate it when people call others sissies for wearing a vest, because someone may have a bruising problem(believe it or not i know someone who did) and it can hurt. Theres also the people going on a cruis and stuff who dont want welts. Paintball can hurt sometimes too  ... however im not implying that i wear a vest... Speedball all the way baby

why not wear the armor they use for motocross races, the plastic vest
which is by the way very mobile. it is not very hot either, it is
vented with pading on it though. it can be worn either under or
over your jersey. and yes like balazs said people can have
brusing problems which can be a very big problem for some people.
and at the "fieldarmor" site they have suits which would be very good
for woodsball.

Wearing a vest or a single peice of under armor is fine but buying something like a field armor suit is going way over the top sorry if I offended anyone that wears underarmor ------------- I dont care what you say there are snipers in paintball |

yep, i agree. 1. paintballs dont realy hurt 2. if you get hit anywhere other than the chest your gonna feel it anyway. 3. if you wear armor you look like a sissy, and people will shoot you more because of it. |

I dont know about any one else but that post makes it sound more like just haveing a rule where u can get hit more then once in order to be eliminated... not actually wearing something to lessen the blow. Me and my friends do this some time to make the game last a little longer but we just do head shots and chest shots are one hit and ne where else is 2 hits |

Who ever invented and patented the Body Armor fer Paintballing should be punished....wit extreme prejudice, like a 1000 marker firing squad....Like I said in another thread similair to this one...."body armor makes you look like a wuss" if one cant stand the pain of gettin a welt, then sell all that paintball gear to the next person who isnt afraid of gettin a few bumps and bruises. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

Havent been shot there, Im too close to the ground and the closest Ive been hit was my inner thigh. Neck Protectors are useless, makes ya sweat like crazy but, theyre useful in hidin those incriminating hickies. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

IMHO: I think its a matter of discipline which is why paintball armor isn't very popular....  Face it, if your acting recklessly and stupidly while being bunkered and you get slapped with a few paintballs, your not only tagged out but in a slight bit of pain. Over time I would think a person would become smarter to stay calm while being bunkered and improve on his/her tactics a little bit, so that they don't get hit with a paintball and thus avoid that pain. However, if your a somewhat newer paintballer and you have just bought some thick pads of armor for every place possible on your body, when you get hit no matter how many balls your not hurt, and in most cases I believe that person does not learn a lesson, instead just gets a little frusterated with the game because he was tagged. Therefore, with the pain incentive you can learn some better ways to avoid paintballs... with armor, I would think it would be a different learning experience. why dont you just play were you can take to hits to certian areas and only one to others ect... if thats what you want its all on honor system though nut so is normal paitnball mostly -------------
