omg DDay at skirmish in PA was the best expirence of my life! 2,711 people attended for a kick butt game. The germans were tuff but in the end the allies won by about 15 (wahoo first time we won!). I wasnt on the beach for the first assualt, i was a paratrooper, but i heard it was awsome. Later on, on the second day i was on the beach fighting germans back into the woods. The beach was so much fun even with a mobile german tank fireing at us. The people at D-day all had sick guns and it was fun to look at them all. There were mortors, tanks, flamethrowers, rocket launchers, and your conventional paintball guns. At D-day you felt like you were atually in the military...there was a command, misson, Id tags, spies, perimiters set up where only the highly ranked could go to. All in all it was a great expirence and i am going back next year. Hopefully i will see u all there.

I loved it, anyone see me? i was the xo for the allies from about 5:30pm until 1am haha, just kinda fell into that.... (i didnt do to much execpt help get the french to blow stuff up, it was odd because i was not part of the commanding staff but the xo got killed at about 5:30pm and i was the only one left at the base so the refs told me i was xo and worth 50points ha, then once the general came back at about 11pm he kept me as xo for the night, so it was awesome.)  And i was also gaurding the base allot, i was one of the few people allowed behind the police tape at will(i had the a5 with big silenced whisper barrel). ..anyway it was tons of fun, i really enjoyed holding off the german attack on are base with my night vision at about 12:30am.

p.s. I would like to congragualte the champion who suicide bombed are R.R. tent thinking it was the command tent...BRAVO

Best DDay ever! The airborne mission in the morning was very well organized and perfectly executed. Coming back off onto the beach to cheers carrying one of the 26 fuel drums we captured in the airborne was GREAT!

I enjoyed myself last year but this year definitely topped it. The beach was fixed up a little from last year and looked great with the helicopters. The firefights on the beach were crazy, I've never seen so much shooting before. There were some great fights in the woods too. On the second day there was one fight between a large allied group at the air field and a large german group at a fuel depot that was pretty funny. We saw the germans and couldn't tell if they were dead or not at first and then when we found out they were in, half of the group walked straight up to them calmly. When they got close, one german put up his gun and then everbody put their guns up and all at once the mobs just exploded into a frenzy. It was the coolest thing I ever saw but the dumbest thing done strategically. They had more people and that suicide run stacked the odds even higher against us so the germans pushed us into the woods and then took us all out but we did put up a fight. A lot of germans didn't leave though. I shot several of them multiple times and they still played on despite obvious hits and all the refs were off scratching themselves somewhere.

I did have a good time but I think the refs really need to hang around the large groups and not all stay in one area. There would always be one big fight with all the refs and then about 2 other smaller (but still fairly large) fights out in the woods with no refs nearby. The ones with no refs were full of cheaters on both sides though I only saw one american player cheating. The only reason I didn't say anything to him is because the people shooting him were wiping too. It did bother me though and I wish people would just play fair, it really takes away from the game when you shoot somebody and they don't leave. I shot a guy when we were at the airfield and after I shot him a couple times he still put his gun up and shot me up. That player was also shot by a couple of my teammates right after I shot him and he still stayed in the game. Even though I shouldn't have, I left the game after being shot by him so I could go calm down (I don't think skirmish would appreciate a dead body on their field).

I'll be posting pictures on my site from this year soon. I took some pictures of the tanks and the field with my camera but it fell out of my pocket during the game and I lost it . Luckily it was just a disposable camera. I bought a couple pictures from the photographers though, they got some nice shots of the field and a few of me. I'll be going back next year, hopefully with a few more friends.

I too shot several people that did not call themselves out, BUT I was also shot several times without any breaks. This could be the part of the percived problem, paint that was not breaking. The only breaks I had were on my gun or on a pod, everything else bounced. There were several people I shot and know I hit, but did not know if there was a break. There was only one time that I shot someone and saw it break and the person did not call themselves out. Everyone that I hit and saw it break called out.

There are not enough refs and they are not controlled well or trained(sorry dankcharlie), but with a game requiring this many refs, you end up with alot of kids reffing. Most of the MXS scenario games I have been to have local teams reffing and with Bobby has the head judge he makes sure the reffs know their job. But the game was fun and there was no problem getting air or paint(except for a compressor blowing up and only 3000 fills) and I would go again.

Well remember your not supposed to call out when you are hit but call for a medic and stay there. I was on the german side and my favorite part had to be taking the french village. That was the best storming in there the americans  didnt know what was going on till to late. How did you guys stay till 1? I passed out in the car at about 9.

This is somewhat true, if you were hit in the body you could call for a medic to your location, but if one did not arrive within 60 seconds you had to call yourself out. If you were shot in the head you had to call yourself out, just remember this was only if the ball broke.

Yeah and every time I needed a medic they were nowhere to be found. There was always a medic nearby but when I got shot, of course the medic was gone. I have absolutely no luck . I think I'm going to request to be a medic next year. There weren't a whole lot of them around and it seemed like nobody on our team got hit until the medic left. My bad luck must be contagious. I found bull there eventually but we didn't really stay together on the field. He took an eternal break from play and I wanted to get back in the game so I had to ditch him, sorry bull . Next year I'd like to have a more organized group though. It's hard to stay together when the group members get hit at different times and have to get reinserted and stuff. Most of the time I just ended up working with complete strangers until my friend got back in the game and wandered over to me again.

With that many people playing how can you not cheat.

Easily, I have enough respect for the game to resist the temptation. I easily could have cheated plenty of times but I didn't because it's not right. I expect all players to play fair so I have to as well, even if they end up cheating anyway. Just because you can get away with something doesn't mean you should do it.
