Macroline is pretty simple to use. All you need is the line itself, which you can cut to length easily, 2 fittings (straight or angled, depending on your setup) and some teflon tape to seal the fittings. And, yes, it will work with CO2 |

And you're calling someone stupid? Wow, the irony. His link goes directly to a seller of Macroline tubing. Macroline is a lighter and more flexible alternative to steel braided line. You cut it to length as already stated and it has a working pressure of 1000psi with a max pressure of 3000psi before blowout. If you install it correctly it will preform better than steel braided line. Macroline worked fine for me- just make sure when you install it you give it some slack. As for the hole "popping" out, you did it when you installed it or else did (during shipping, at the factory). In that case, grab some extra hose and re-do it. I've been using a macroline with my C02 tank for quite some time, it works great.
All it is, is pretty thich plastic. Yes, it can get damaged, but you'd have to use a lot of effort to manage that. I play pretty aggressive, and I have yet to have one of my tubes blow out on me. They are cheap to replace as well, not to mention easy. The hose can be disconnected with little effort when you're cleaning or whatnot. |
