Ok, I know how to polish my internals, well at least I know how everyone else says to do it. My biggest problem is why sandpaper/ steel wool/ Dremel tool? It's paint on the inside, so... wouldn't you use paint remover? Such as: Terpentine, Paint Thinner, Acetone, Denatured Wood Alcohol, or some other kind of cleaning monstrousity?

It is paint and rough overspray metal, I assume from the mold. I used 800 grit sand paper, Tippmann recommended a dish scrubby. It will make you gun fire hotter probably requiring a lighter spring. Only do it where there is friction, not where the power tube sits. I chromed mine up with mothers polish. People worry about over sanding but just do it super lightly. If you have too much bolt movement (side to side) after you can sand one receiver where it connects to the other, it closes any gap made by polishing

If my posts seem strange it is because dial-up gives me too much time to think.
