Thompsons are pretty cool looking in my opinion. However, I am not a very big fan of airsoft. I have played it but it wasnt very exciting to me. Looks cool!

NEVER REMOVE OR PAINT OVER THE ORANGE TIPS ON TOY GUNS!

Those tips are there for a reason, quick identification of a fake non-threatening weapon. By removing that orange tip, you are making a fake toy gun look real. If a police officer sees you with a gun like that without the orange tip you could get in some trouble.

I still don't understand how MIL/SIM paintball guns aren't required to have orange tips installed as well, considering those paintball guns can look identical to the real thing.

true as this may be, you think a quarter inch orange tip is going to save you at a reasonable distance. even with the tips, they are extremely hard to see anywhere past twenty yards. the only safe way to play is away from the public really.

not a bad looking gun for free, just don't get it hurt, the springs unlodge easily.

I always wondered that too then I thought about it. And I think they would notice the big hopper and c02 tank.

I held one of those cheap see-thru spring airsoft guns the other day. It seriously felt like it was about to break at any minute.

That's not to say they're aren't any good airsoft guns out there, because there are. The XM177 I held felt pretty durable(it was spring).

this one realy wasnt as bad, it had quite a few metal parts, but it was still pretty cheap, even brasss eagles are made at a much higher quality than most airsoft guns, and its always alot of fun to have a pisto; or somethin for just quick little wars in the backyard or somethin,(o yea, this thing hurt like hell, my cuz shot me like 10 times at point blank, like half of them broke the skin!

i used to have a mp5 airsoft gun, that thing was so awesome, i loved the retractable stock! i sold it cuz i needed money for my pb gun, but i wish i sold somethin else instead, it was so cool

The Orange tip is required to be put on ,by MANUFACTURERS of the toy guns , (think its a federal thing , dunno )

Paintball Mil-Sims are modified privately ,or aftermarket , and in some areas are subject to the same city and state regulations as are Real Weapons . that could be why even from the manufacturers , they have no orange tips , on the guns I own ,it is stamped on the body , that this is NOT a Toy ,Blah,Blah,Blah,,,

That would be one advantage of the shiny speedball guns ,is that they'd have a better chance of being recognized as a Paintball gun , than say a Procarbine ,late at night by a police officer , but who in their right mind would be scooting around  brandishing either an airsoft, or PB gun ?

QUOTE] Thats not true, as long as you arnt using it to threaten anyone, (depending on you city and county regulations) you can carry a rifle *in full view* while your walken up main street.

Now if you want to carry it concealed, you have to get a permit...

P.S. (thats just how it works in my county, I dont know about yours)

even though you suck a quoting, i agree with most you said.  one of my friends walked through mainstreet with a 12 ga. once and he didn't get arrested.  But this is where i don't agree.  think about it.  you are playing airsoft whitch means you will be shooting at people.  that would seem somewhat threatening if a cop happened to see to people shooting at each other in the woods with 2 realistic looking weapons.  that's where you would get in trouble.

Removing or painting over the orange tips is against federal law.

I recently played airsoft with some friends who have a bunch of springer AK's. It was fun. Airsoft is actually really cool. IMO it's better than paintball for woods/milsim games.

Rumor has it, Tippmann will be getting in distribution of airsoft markers. If so, we'll definitely carry them. Airsoft is something I've been considering for a while now.

Same here County, I've defineatly been thinking about Airsoft, and if you carried Airsoft, I'd buy from you for sure. I've already bought lot's of gear from you including lapco bigshot for my 98, an A-5, an a-5 flatline, stock, raised sight rail, and remote lines, and multiple harnesses. You have the best service.
