Tippmann model 98

Comp Air low pressure system

Palmer Vertical Stabilizer

Shocktech DropForward

Air America 68/3k tank w/ crossfire head

Stainless powertube and frount bolt

Polished internals

J&J Full tilt 2 piece barrell

Viewloader revvy

Also has modified for shorter trigger travel and lightened pull, and I can paddle this thing to hell until I outshoot my rev. I run it at about 325psi to get 280fps, very consistently. Its sooooo quiet, and shoots like a dream. Ive dropped this thing so many times, banged it on trees, dropped it in the mud, and it just keeps on shootin smooth. I used to shoot team colors and then have switched to Evil, and barly every break paint. This is my baby.

Wow! Worth the wait! Nice job, sir.

The only thing that needs to change is the trigger guard. It clashes with the drop forward. I think they should legalize guns without trigger guards, especially for those with a low pressure kit practically guarding the trigger for you.

Its not a 98c....

The only thing I dont like about the gun is the gaurd.  Other then that it is awesome.

If you are open for recomendations, I suggest milling the front grip to go along with the reg. better.  Although I would hate to destroy that paintjob...

What's your serial number? It's old if its serial number is under 400,000-something. Mine's 77000-something...real old school. Since the threads are slightly larger than the newer 98s I had to wrap the threads of my barrel in teflon tape to get it to fit.

I like the paintjob. I plan to get a double trigger, but I'm getting the LAPCO trigger guard.

Nice color. looks great.

Homer J is right about the barrel threads. When I bought an older barrel for my 98 Custom, the threads were slightly off. The older threads don't quite make it all around the barrel and cuts off in a straight linear direction (making the barrel a little off). The new and modified threads actually wrap around the entire barrel. When Tippmann discovered this, all of the Model 98's and 98 Customs' threads were modified. Hence, the serial numbers changed (i forgot the exact digits but i think it was the last two digits).

nice..graet job....Wink

when i had my tippmann i found it hard to find good after market parts...like a stailess power tube...(where the hell can u get stainless power tubes...lol)....

its takes alot of time and patients to turn a 98c in to that..i can be easily done but it takes alot of time...like filing down the lettering....and polishing the internals...ive been there lol....ino know what it takes to get a tippmann like that so u have my respect...lol..

great job..lol.i love it
