for accuracy, boomstick or if your on  a budjet bigshot

for range get a flatline, but you lose some accuracy

Bigshot and Flatline.

If you want the Flatline barrel, and you are afraid of the "risks" that installing it yourself may cause, send it in to the manufacturer for service and installation.

Flaltine is the best for range and is just as accurate as other barrels. Don't let eople disuade you from it. And if you are afraid of screwing up your Flaltine then send it in to Tippmann and it will assure that ther be no problems.

If you have the money, get the Freak barrel system. I haven't had any problems and you can ALWAYS have a perfect paint to barrel-match no matter what paint you're using. Just my two cents.

all barrels will give the same range.  99% atleast.  in that 1 perecent there is the flatline barrel.  this barrel will increaes range by giving backspin on the ball.  by doing so it makes the ball more susceptible to wind and other natural things.  dont listen to some of these people.  the flatline is a good barrel, but it is not the most accurate.

Pros
-Adds range

Cons
-Expensive (for this price just buy a much better barrel)
-Touchy, if you brake paint its a byotch to clean.
-If the barrel is on the slightest of an angel the ball will fly of course.
-Looks terrible IMO, the 98c flatline is the only one that slightly appeals to me.

for that price buy a st!ffi barrel or a boomstick.

The Flatline is a great barrel, but you have to make sure you don't lean with it. The gun has to be strait up and down for it to work right, if the gun is at an angle the paintballs will curve like crazy.

flatline is a vary good barrel but is picky on paint and you need to have it adjusted for you.it's a hard barrel to get use to but when you do they are very good.

you might want to check into a jj ceramic barrel i'm getting one soon.

Ok, here we go...

For range the only barrel that will give you an advantage is the flatline. However, it's not the most accurate out there. As Glassjaw said, the backspin causes the ball to be susceptible to factors such as wind and temperature. There are much more accurate barrels for the same if not less of a price.

You need to tell us what you want to spend. Then we can give you an idea of the best barrel for you. The Freak is not the most accurate barrel out there but it's good. The Hammerhead is probably one of the most accurate and precision barrels on the market but it can cost over $200. How much are you willing to spend on a barrel, then we can tell you what your best bet would be. There are many accurate barrels on the market, but which is in your price range is the question we have to answer. Get back to us on that and then we'll talk about specific suggestions.
Also, don't go by what good experiences we've had with a barrel. "Get a flatline, I love mine" is not a reason to go out and buy one. Good for him if he loves his flatline, you may not. Then you've just wasted $100. After you get back with the price range and we can give you suggestions, please go out and try what barrels we suggest. Do not make a purchase based on other people's opinions.

21" thunder pig riffled barrle will give you the range and accuracy because it is long and rifled.......

really, the FL is the only barrle that will give you range and accuracy.  All other barrels shoot the same distance.

Was the Thunderpig part a joke? Heh heh... you have a very dry sense of humor, I like you. But not ina creepy way, I mean... I don't... aw sod it.

And the Flatline will only give you more range than other barrels. It's not the only one with more accuracy. Most other aftermarket barrels are more accurate.
