hello i have figured a way to waterproof my a-5 if any of you would like the specs i will feel free to email them to you great for those games in swamps or rainy days.

not at all i molded plastic cverings in the shape of the gun and just screwed them down.

i made a kind of a barell plug but it fits over the hole barrel and when you shoot just slid it of.

tippmann are pretty much waterproof anyway


I play with my 98 in the rain all the time....no bad affexct on my gun really, just if your ported any part of the gun tape it up

It's not possible to water "proof" it. Even with a barrel sleeve, you forgot about the trigger. Huge hole there. I have wanted to seal my A-5 better though, around the bolt paths. Oil leaks out between the receiver halves, which also means air thats could be doing more useful things leaks out.

so did any one ever get a response to how "to waterproof an A-5"??? i
wouldnt mind thoughts and ideas? i play a bit in the wet west coast rainy
sunshine...i have been dreaming about a way to keep my paint dry while its
still in the hopper....if only paint and water could mix a bit more befor it
turned to gooo. any thoughts?
