What kind of paint are you using. Diablo what?

How old is this paint, what kind of conditions have it been stored in, is it dimpled, and how large is it? Remember, small bore, fresh, high-quality!

Next, let's look at the barrel. Is it clean? Run it under hot water and let it dry before using it! Be sure it is tuned properly and there is nothing impeding the travel of the ball. Be sure there is no debris in the way and the barrel is straight...perfectly so.

Finally, make sure you are chroning around 260fps-285fps. Too high and it will bust balls.

You may just have a bad batch of paint.

you may want to have someone who has used a flatline for a really long time look at it or a proshop that knows what there talking abot

now you may have just lined it wrong but other then that if you still have probs with it send it back to tippman for a check up

try using a RUBBER mallet and pushing it in further, you may not have the barrel far enough in, if this fails, than take it to the proshop local proshop
