I have a team started and we are trying to get sponsors so we can play in more tourneys. What is the best way of going bout this and most importantly can we get a paint comp. to sponsor us so we can get paint. off topic wat is that security thing when you have to type the word or number back what could that possible protect. ------------- One shot one kill any more and your jus a nub! |

You generally have to be good and make yourself known to get sponsored.
Companies aren't stupid (at least with their money) and won't sponser
people just because they want free paint, etc.
It's an image, not text. That means the letters themselves can't be viewed in HTML, or what have you. Only you can see the letters/numbers. |

Play in some local tourneys, take like 3 first place's in a Row, then go to some State Held Tourneys, and Try ang get in the top 3 4 or 5 times, then try to go to a National tournment and try and Get in the top 25. -------------

Its just like applying for a job, get a team portfolio together (outlining all the tourneys you have participated in and your placings) and go to companys. you need to clearly outline what you expect from the company and what the company can expect from you (appearences, product promotion, etc.) it is a give and take relationship. I suggest talking to whomever is in charge of marketing, since that is what you will basicly be, a marketing tool.
remember, you must have talent. you must place high in most/all the tournys you were in if you expect to get anything. also... this is not an idea, it belongs in new player or T&O... ___ SIGNAL ------------- GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!!! |

Get a sponsporship from something smaller, a local store, a local field, so that you can enter many tournaments. You might want to look into joining a different team, an addition, you can play some tournies and they play other tournies, easier to get sponsored, or maybe thier already sponsored, and takes a load off since theres less hassle of being a captain. -------------
