I have used it, and it's not very respectable. Tippmann's stock barrel are just straightened aluminum pipes. Feel the inside of it. Not very smooth is it? Investing in a new barrel will certainly help.

the stock barrel is good, later you need to get a barrel kit or a new barrel. You should consider on getting a barrel kit like evil pipe kit or the freak kits.

Most people don't like flatlines in speedball, some back players do, but not most.

Tippmann has a reputation for having some of the worst stock barrels around, investing in a kit would be best.

I have never used my A-5's stock barrel.

Or my 98c's, for that matter.

I would actually recommend you get a 12" Lapco Bigshot for speedball.  They are pretty much the most accurate barrel you can buy.

So what is this experience thing you talk of? What is that?

Stock barrels suck monkey chunks. 111 posts and you never read a thread about barrels in here? Must be a  younger sibling using your account.

go in ur back yard and tape the vents of the stock barrel up and shoot some balls off you get better accuracy and distance  works better with 98c stock better but A-5 is good too

The stock barrel sucks for speedball, so does the flatline (it was suggested above, its a BAD idea)

The lapco bigshot 12" is a great barrel, if you have the cash get an evil pipe kit or lapco snapshot kit.
