Subject: Zippo
Date Posted: 27 July 2004 at 11:08pm

I just got back from gatlinburg, tennesee and did a little shopping and bought my first zippo. I just bought it for hunting so its in a camoflauge pattern. After gettin back home and realizing how nice they look i have decided to start collecting these. My next one will be either just a plain silver one or a diamond plate ford zippo.

Any 1 else collect these, or have one

There was 1 paintball field there with only 1 field didn't ever get chance to go in but look ok.

Ronson company and Zippo company have been around for about the same amount of time. But I don't know who came up with the wick, alcohol soaked pad, capped, wind-proof design first.

My guess is that it was Zippo.

A lot.

Real Zippos can get bloody expensive, if I'm correct.

I don't know the exact price of a real Zippo, but it sure as hell isn't low...

i've wanted a zippo for about 2 years (ever since i went to the Zippo Museum/factory in Pennslyvania) but my parents won't let me get one because they think if i have a lighter I'll smoke and burn down houses and stuff, but i won't.  all i want it for is so when i hear a song i really like i can start waving it.
