| Xbox is way better, go with xbox or ull be disapointed. Ps2 is good, fun system, I have both and I hardly use my PS2. Now that gta3 and vice is on xbox theres no real reason to get ps2. Plus xbox has halo and halo 2. This is just my opinion so u have to see what games u like best on what system. But if i were u, go with xbox. |

| yeah, thats just ur opinion, i love halo, xbox does have amazing graphs, its really about what games u like. So even if u say something sucks, its just ur opinion. So my advice. Buy what system you like the most games on. Dont buy a system that ur buddy tells u is better because his opinions on games might be totally different to what you like. There are games that are multiplatform but then it comes down to what control type you want. Anyways, just something to think about. |

okay...xbox fanboys will make the xbox look godlike.
ps2 fanboys..will make their system to look godlike xbox fans will ALWAYS rely on the one gamethat was released years ago. ps2 fans will ALWAYS insist halo is over rated you wont get a straight answer..unless you ask someone who owns niether, yet has played both. |

i just have to say one thing thing, after that i will never return to this thread again..... first of all, the difference between the xbox and ps2: im not saying the PS2 is a bad console im just saying its not the best, what makes it so good is its games it has more games (most of which are very highly rated games) than any other console prolly every had. now the xbox is far superior to the PS2 and GC in graphics, online capabilities and all that other hootin any, but it does lack in the quality of its games, and i beleive that is why most people choose the PS2 over the xbox(that, and personal opinion), yes xbox has halo and will soon have halo 2, fable, doom 3 and mech assault 2 sometime in the not to distant future, hopefully by then developers will realize what the xbox is capable of and start to make more and better games for it. -------------

depends what games you like and your age ps2 has games for all ages from 4 year olds who games with little cutesy charectors and unicorns to gta3 xbox has the games for Teen and Mature such as grand Theft Autos Halo and all kinds of racing gore fighting games basicly if your an adult get an xbox if you have little babies whoplay the system get the play stations if you want a system you can put in your pocket that has only mario games get the gamecube
lemme put it like this i have 2 friends who had a ps2 one sold his and bought an Xbox after playing mine and the other only bought the ps2 because of gta3 which xbox now has.......... -------------

Xbox>GC>PS2. I own all 3 and have not played on the PS2 in
over a year, and the GC since Metroid Prime (which is one of the best
games of all time.) Xbox has the best content on the way BY FAR
with Halo 2 and Fable being exclusive. I was a PS2 fanboy for a
while, but since I bought there really has not been a must have
PS2-only title in years.

did some quick searching a ps2 only has 200 mhz wow my moms computer tops that and my moms computer is old x box has aboutt a pentium 3 (800 mhz) so which one is better oh ya gc what i got has a bout 400 mhz, srry i stick with nintendo the first real gamesystem in my mind srry atari dont cut it(but hey that was back in the 70s so i should give them some slack but i got an intelivision yaaaahhh 8 colors rock on) -------------
