The preseason weeks, same as in the NFL, are for practice. The points won't count and there will not be any prizes for preseason winners. The wagers will also not count towards anything. However, it's a good idea to pick for the preseason weeks just to become familiar before the real season starts.
You basically just pick who you think will win for each week. The Rules, FAQ, and other items of help can be found in the "help" menu. Thanks for checking it out. ^ sorry to do this mike but... The preseason doesn't mean Jack.... I Remember I thought the Lions were going to pwn the NFL, but once the 'TRUE' Season started they got cut down quick, and they lost like 5 games in a row.

I agree the preseason doesn't mean anything. That's why they don't count in our pool either. It's just there for practice so people can become familiar with the pool before the real season starts.
You can enter your picks and see results just to make sure you know how everything on the site works. Preseason points don't show up on the yearly rankings page but you can check them on the individual "Results" page. There's also a message board related to the EZOfficePool.com website. People can go on there and talk trash about each other's picks, favorite teams, etc. Thanks. There's a problem with some Verizon hardware that needs to be fixed. That's why the site is currently unreachable. It's supposed to be fixed this morning.
I took the '03 Shocker packages off the site because Smart Parts tells me they're no longer available. (Since it is August of '04 now) Otherwise, everything is still fine. If you win every week, that's $170 + $50. (Because of the $10 GC each week, for 17 weeks)
Even if you only win one week all year, it's still good since it costs nothing to enter. If you're interested in any other types of pools, or just curious to see how they work, join the public pools. Password is "public" for those. Survivor is cool. Each week you pick one team. If that team wins, you advance to the following week. However, you not use the same team more than once. For the regular season, those "bets" will accumulate and you'll be able to bet more (assuming you win in previous weeks). You can bet all the credits you have any given week. If you have less than 1000 credits, it will still let you bet 1000. However, you can go into the negative numbers. At the end of the season, if you have negative credits, "Bruno" might pay you a visit. :) Just kidding, you can go negative 20,000 and we don't really care. It's all for fun.
We have over 180 members in the group now. Think we can get it over 200 before the season starts? The wins for the gift certificates go by points. The Credits is just a bonus thing to play around with.
Who knows, maybe I'll get generous and give the top "money maker" at the end of the season a GC too. I'm already down - got the first game of the season wrong. I got the first game wrong already. I picked the Colts but they blew it with a missed field goal (following a big sack that made it a long FG attempt).

im taking denver over KC, and oakland over pittsburg.....

Eh, ive gotten 3 games wrong today.
Baltimore forgot they were were supposed to own Cleveland. Pittsburgs kicker is now on my hate list for ruining that game for me. And...what the heck is San Diego thinking?? they were supposed to suck! |

Holy Horses!!! The Broncos Destroyed KC.
After Watching the Vikings man handle the Cowboys I think they may have a shot at a division Title match... Clevland has really stepped it up to with Jeff Garcia (New QB) But there Soft Defense wont get them Far. -------------

hehe...I almost changed my pick for the denver game. But, i stuck with em cuz im a bull headed denver fan...yay. Im only down 1 to hades. w00t.
