Halo B is awesome, everyone saying its heavy should know that a full halo B and a full egg are the same weight.

you are forgetting the Empire ReLoader B. i just got one, i think its exactly like a Halo B only its sound activated instead of the sensor, no more dark shell problems. more expensive to though.

I don't like the empire reloader because of the sound activite. All you need to do it yell and it rip. The empire reloader is like $135.00 dallors I think. I might get one it might save the batteries.

Yeah but the Egg holds 40 more paintballs than a Halo.

The Empire runs off of 6 OR 4 AA batteries. Also, you CAN'T carry extra batteries with you onto the field. Well actually you can, but they arn't going to be that easy to change. Just keep them in your gear bag and between games if you need to switch, then you can do so. The Empire B (just like the Halo) had a red warning light to where if your batteries are getting low then you can change them as soon as possible, but you can still play with it for a few games easily. Also, it IS sound activated, but not fully... if you yell, it won't go off, if you shake it, it won't go off, if you do both, it won't go off, but if you close the lid, that vibration, and that sound makes it go off. At least that's the way it is with the Empire origional. The Halo DOES have problems with dark paint. It sees no paintball, so tries to load, which CAN cause a paintball to break in there.

True, but calling it 40 paintballs is nothing, im just saying that they are close in weight despit what everyone says.

Also on the empire reloader b, I have never tried one myself, but it seems to move that its a stupid idea since its a sound activated true force feed if you tap on the shell or their is a loud noise it would force another paintball in the gun but it would already but full so it would break them in the gun. Again im not sure and havn't tried one before but it makes sense, and someone on another forum was complaining about his doing that.

LOL- why would it "rip" with a rip drive? A rip drive is for clearing jams or manually feeding the hopper if your battery's die during a game- it does not make the hopper feed any faster .

The Empire Halo B is awsome- being sound activated it does not have any problems with the color of the paintball shell as a regular Halo might and broken paint cannot block the "eye" like on a regular Halo either. It also has 3 user set feed rates.

Halo's are great hoppers but are only needed if you have a very fast marker and you can shoot it very fast. Most players would not have a problem with a little bit less expensive hopper (think Ev II or Ricochet Apache) they feed pretty quick themselves and our less expensive.

It's a grat and very fast hopper, but unless you plan on be a back man you rely dont need all that speed.

LOL- what he is saying is that with that set-up it's highly unlikely you'd need a force feed Halo. An EII or Rico Apache would be more then adequate. Some times people get something becaese they think they need it when in fact it's very possible there is no need for it what so ever.

go with the halo b. i had an egg 2 in which with my tippmann e-bolt i had trouble with it keeping up and the front 2 screws by the clear neck break easy and when that happens the eye in the neck doesnt work only unless there is a lot of pressure on it. i got a halo after that stopped working and it works awesome with my gun.

Nice, fast, and can as fast as you shoot, unless your fingers are godly at walking.  The only problem is it's expensive, and you are already about half way to an a5 price, and you would be better off with that...that is, if you want to upgrade the parts.
