I had heard that they're might be a DM5 coming out in 2005. Does anyone know if this is true or is it a dumb newb rumor. If it is true do you guys think it will drop the price of the DM4 by a couple hundred dollars. Im hoping that if it is true nad if the prices do drop Im going to wait to get a DM4. ------------- (I'm a nob with no clue about almost anything...) |

I highly doubt it. With the success of the DM4, why would DYE put out another gun to compete with it?
I say in a few years, when Bob Long or WDP etc comes out with something really really nice, and DM4 sales start slumping, thats when they're going to come out wiht a new gun. ------------- <Replaced gigantormous sig with strike, good trade.> |

Yea true the DM4 does have great sucess right now. But eh you never know. They could make a DM5 with more milling and a slightly better reg. ------------- (I'm a nob with no clue about almost anything...) |

How on god's green earth could you have MORE milling than on the DM4? It's not physically possible. Actually, in a certain interview a certain member of Tippmann Effect mentioned Tippmann working on a high-end gun. ------------- Is God real? You'll find out when you die.

Yea I guess its not after alll. but im not paying an extra 100 dollars for a gun that IMO is already kind of over priced. Ill just wait and hope that after the DM5 is released the DM4's prices will go down. ------------- (I'm a nob with no clue about almost anything...) |

Ehhh... I wouldn't think there will be a Dm5... unless some company can Actually make a gun that can compete with the Style and the performance of it. The Russian Legion Can keep up with it but it looks like <poopy>. -------------

dm5 is to come out at the world cup, they are releasing it because they found the dm4 had too many problems with orings, consistansy, and body weight. thats what paintballace repsonded to in a email. ------------- CHECK OUT WWW.PBVIDS.COM!!!! AKA: Logic |
