Well, it's about time sonething finally happened to my dead end of a town.
The ski slope here in Windham NY, a multimillion dollar corporation, owning several hotels, an upscale condo development that even Derek Jeter has a hand in, has decided that they don't make enough summer revenue.
So, they're putting in a 5 field paintball park.
When the game comes to my little town, you KNOW we're growing rapidly.

Where exactly is Windham, NY...close to the CT border by any chance?

Fraid not. We're in Greene County, about an hour south of albany, NYS thruway exit 21.
It's really easy to find though, and once they get it operational, I'm SURE I could get in good with them and have some games out there.

The only upside about RI is when something new comes that there is only one of in the state, the whole state can get to it in about 45 minutes even at the farthest points.

i really feel sorry for you. There are actually beginning to be TOO
many paintball fields near me. You'd think it would make the pricing
more competitive. But it doesn't.
I happen to go catch a game with Pat, Nick, or LightningBolt from time to time.

Denver's actually got a handful of large fields... But it's legal to play paintball in national forests, and we have plenty of those too.

Are they paintball people? People who know the sport- or will they at least bring someone in who does? If not it's a corporation seeing dollar signs and that often makes for a bad and expensive experience for paintballers. I certainly hope that's not the case but I could tell a few horror stories.
