Hey I found a Vertical pod and back set I want to buy, it shows that you can where it with the pods facing the grond or the sky. but it has no velcro, insted the top half of the pods are larger to give a titer fit. Im afraid about the pod sliding out if worn upsidedown. If you have ever used any pod back without velcro what do you think of them?

I would think a velcro closure would make for a more secure pod in any game you play . I recently got one because I got fed up with having a pod pop open in my cargo pocket and dumping all my spare ammo . GRRRR !!

i would not go without a strap to secure the pods, the packs ive used and liked are Mantis (5+4 and 3+2) 32* (own this one, comfortable, fairly cheap, its a 4 down), and the WGP (3+2 and up, it goes to 9+7 or something)
