its normal to outshoot and gravity feeder. i believe the max bps
on a gravity feeder is like 3-7. not sure though. but yes
it isnt rare at all to outshoot a gravity fed hopper.

It's common for balls to "bridge" or, get jambed up in the entrance to the feed tube. And need to be shaken to move the balls around.
There have been lots of solutions to this problem including puffs of air into the hopper from the marker.
best thing to do is get a cheap stirring hopper. If you plan to upgrade get a good force fed hopper.
I don't like the Revvy, had nothing but problems.
I prever the Empire Reloader. It's made better, sturdier feednecks on revvys break easily, and the sound powered concept is much easier to set up and more reliable.

empire reloader or revvy, for a stock $2 hopper it will feed at different rates depending on how full it is, if you pack it it, it won't work so well, if you have about 100 rounds or so it will be good for a while
empire reloader is good for 15bps or so, plenty for your pro-carbine
