You dont have to, But IF you do, It does matter what kind. There are padding regulations. im too lazy, but if i was a good forumer i'd go to The NPPL website and show you their regulations.

a long sleeve T-shirt, most tournaments require long sleeves, but may let you roll them up

refering to above, NPPL banned the latest DYE jersey because the big logo in the center has padding behind it, also on the arms

A jersey is just $50 that you could be spending on your gun.

You know those GTA Jerseys, where would I go to get some custom lettering? And is it relativly inexpensive?

thanks

Whiteknight if theres any tourist attractions in yer area, you'll find a t-shirt shop that does silk screening or custom stitching and fer yer 2nd question....it does get expensive.....of course they'll charge fer the shirt or jersey, each lettering, style and size of the lettering customized or not....if I was to get a jersey fer paintball, I would definitely have the letterings in calligraphy (old english).

Instead of buying a jersyer I would just et a long sleeved white shirt and take a permanent marker and write your teams name and your's on the back.cheap and simple.

That'll work too, but use black ink, any other colored ink will wash off.

yeah and sum have a padded groin area. YAY!!!!!!!!!! No More worries. i almost got hit there by a flatline at 320fps

whiteknight457... it's still going to hurt if you get hit there if you just have the pants "padding" on it. It will absorb some pain, but come on, you'll still be hurting there.

Paintball Jerseys are VERY nice to have. There's another thing besides looking "professional" that they will do... THEY BREATHE... okay... well kinda. Most paintball jerseys are VERY light with mesh going up the sides so you get a LOT of air going through them. If you live in a hot place in the summer and are playing, you'll LOVE paintball jerseys for that reason. Also, if you pick up a jersey, make sure you shop around, there are so many good ones. Personally I just bought an Evil one, and it's nice and light, and you can cut off the long sleeves if you want to, because they stiched an area so you can.

At 320 fps man you got lucky, if the ball had hit you there, you would be walkin off the field lookin a like a bowlegged paintball cowboy talkin like Mickey Mouse.

jerseys will add 5bps to your game...

on the serious note...as with any sport... u can
basically wear anything u want

but if you are gonna win, might as well look good
doing it

like mentioned above, jerseys are nice and light and
are god-sent when playing in hot weather under the
sun

as for tourneys scenes... dont forget... the first
impression counts... gotta look your best
