*smacks paintball duck* boy, dont forget your roots... not everyone likes running around in flashy jersys toting flashy "high end" guns... the game started in the woods as a wargame... and IMO thats how it was intended to be played And just for your information, I went to oklahoma d-day... the largest scenario game in the US (heck, maybe the world) and I did not see one soul carring a hunting knife, fire starters, or wearing face paint around camp or much less onto the field. how about you try it before you bash it. Alright look. For Pete's sake you can have it both ways. Seriously, you guys are acting like immature idiots. Red comes here to show us his web site and probably to show off a little. I would to, it's a pretty cool site though needs some finishing touches.
So what if they play scenerio ball...most of us do and those people that won't play both (speedball/scenerio) are missing out big time. Example: OMHW is one of the big names in scenerio ball. They play all over the country at the big games. However they also play speedball. They've placed in several tournaments and have some real good players. You think because you play only speedball that you got the edge on them? OMHW would bury you. ------------- Didn't I say, "No Guns for the Monkey?"

this team are not paintballers........WE ARE MILSIM OPERATORS. We have current and prior military and law enforcement in this team. We train anti-terrorist tactics. This is redsqu1rr31_ of the Elite... The point of this post was to get our website and name out there in the mix. If you don't like it, don't post! THAT SIMPLE! This IS the Tippmann Forum. Tippmann's aren't speedball guns last time I checked. What's with this immature finger pointing and putting people down saying they can't afford a "good" gun? I really don't see the point of wasting $60 worth of paint in one game... Why waste 60 balls trying to hit one person when you can take your time, and waste them with one or two? I think the people who come in here to dogg our team need to take a reality check and grow up a bit. Only someone who has no maturity would come in here and run off at the mouth like you did. I myself am not a fan of speedball due to the fact that there's no challenge. I've played speeball many times and I'm always one of the last people out. Why spend $800 on a gun that if it gets one drop of water or one grain of sand in it it goes down. Personally that doesn't seem like a sound investment to me... Thats a little harsh on Speedball..its not that bad. People shoot of all that paint to intimidate who they are shooting at and if they happen to go where they are shooting, they get hit. Speedball and woodsball require different tactics. When 10 people are in a 50 foot long arena with air bunkers, you'll need to shoot a lot more than a 10 acre areana where stealth and accuracy is the key. But for me, I like woodsball more. I just get a better feeling after I just crawled over to the other side of the field and shoot out 5 people then when I use a case of paint and hit one person. Soo... Many errors in that web page. since thats not the topic anymore..... I like woodsball much better than speedball. Not saying speedball is dumb or whatever, I just like the feel of woodsball more. Im not cheap, I just don't like speedball. I also have to agree with what the Major said. It's all personal preference. I love when members with like 40 posts come and talk (or type) up all this trouble. -------------

I love how this forum is filled with half-minded fools. Crimp/PBduck- you're obviously nothing but a trouble maker that gets a kick outta causing trouble. I don't disresect any form of paintball, except when it's unsafe. I don't care if you're playing turn-based paintball (oh god what have I said?) it's still the same. I love how you said get the military aspect out of it. Ummm... you still shoot the other players in speedball right? I don't think I've heard of your version of speedball before- how's it not militarily related?? Here, let help you out- Speedball- resembles Urban combat, such as what occured in WWII and Vietnam and Korea and even in Iraq- lots of man-made points of cover and close range combat. Woodsball- resembles woodland/jungle combat, which occured in WWII, Vietnam, and Korea. Milsim- this is the act of making your markers look like/resemble actual guns. Tactically, the game is still either woodsball or speedball. Also, I've seen many groups of actual military men training for combat tactics (not shooting skills) at the field I play at. If they take your suggestion, they should practice tactics with live ammunition. Plus, i'm sure your family that was in the war would have benefitted greatly, along with their lost friends and companions, from training with paintball guns. I also love how you wave their bravery and honor around to make yourself look better. MAJOR- Oh god, did Major Payne just step outta the silver screen here or what? I don't think your idle threats remotely scare anything on the forums. Plus your stereotypical responses and tone make more room for humor than seriousness. Oh yeah- MAJOR, I was in Iowa last week near Cedar Rapids- wow does your state really suck. We needed to go south on 380, but all of Iowa decided to get covered in fog with 20 feet of visibility and we ended up going east to Dyersville, near Wisconsin. Major Payne is a **edited**!!!! I'm not him. I'm a little stricter. I don't think speedball is anything like CQC. Where's the room entry? Where's the stack formation? Check yourself before you compare speedball and CQC as the same thing. Because its not. Have you ever trained CQC before? Because saying its close combat is nothing compared to the realism of CQC. Whether it's CQC, Speedball, Woodsball, whatever, it's still paintball and a game.
You could look at it this way: Speedball would be like organized football with refs, sidelines, uniforms, etc. Woodsball would be like sand lot football. CQC would be like running drills in practice or even a scrimmage. Not to take anything away from any of them. To me it's all paintball. I've said this before and I'll say it again...some people like vanilla, some like chocolate, and some say, "hell, if it's icecream I'll eat it!" ------------- Didn't I say, "No Guns for the Monkey?"

Ive tried CQC once fer a security company I was workin fer back in the mid 90's and man, whata adrenaline rush and to come to think bout it, my heart rate was beating extremely fast (like having a cardiac arrest) compared to playing woodsball. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

Yes this post is totally stupid. Especially since crimp won't let it die, I really loved the comment about "Don't think you're tough cause you're not" I know for a fact that Major is a former Marine. Think about that... Marines are the first to the line when they get called into action. Why wouldn't he be tough mentally, and physically.
