Well dimplses dont mean chopping paint. A dimple means chopping paint. Its just like if you covered up half the dimples on a golf ball it wouldnt work as well. To do this to a paintball there is probably a very precise way that you have to make them and a precise pattern.

I personally have never heard of this. But I am doubtful. Mainly because extra distance isnt all that important in speedball and thats what most companies focus on. Plus this would increase the cost of paintballs.

Dimples

Who the idiot who came up with this idea.....The paintballs wouldnt be accurate at the speed it is goin with dimples in the paint, it would curve. I had experiences with dimpled paint, and its not fun.

^^^^no uve had experiance with paintballs with 1 or 2 dimples, but when there are evenly spreadout across the paintball, i dot think it would make it curve

if they came up with a way to do it it would be almost required to get them or you wouldln't do as well, but it would be almost impossible to afford. It would suck .

there are a few problems with dimpled paintballs, namely that a gelatin shell is incapable of holding that shape for very long

When the paintball is fired, it would mess up the dimples.
