 I know what most of you speedballers will say, so save the energy. I play woodsball and im pretty low on money. I'm saving up for the r/t. Cool. I play speedball but for a woodsball gun it isn't to bad. 7/10 deffidently get the R/T. Get 2x Trigger with the R/T though. Makes ya shot faster. Question for you guys: why do you come into a topic that says "WOODSBALL GUN" and then just dog out woodsball? I mean, if you hate woodsball thats fine, but dont come here just to tell me that. 6/10 ur on ur way looks good but as said b4 get the color to match and try to either balange out the handguard on the barrel or something becaues it looke weird

Im gonna take the tape off the stock and spraypaint it like the rest of the gun along with the barrel. I dont know what to do about the balancing part. Any suggestions would be nice. yeah, i have the paint, just got to get around to doin it. I guess the thing on the barrell is personal preference, because I like it. I made it out of wood, and its pretty comfy. keep the tape on the stock, i like your handguard idea but it seems a
little bolky and plain. i like the difference colors, but they
are too simplistic. add more of a camo color to it. would
you rather have a solid color of brown when hididng or a camo color of
brown, green, and a blackish color? hmm?

Very Unique. I like it, Kudos to you. How Does it proform?
I give it a 10/10 for effort and uniquness (is that a word) [I dont grade Easy] Suggestions to Upgrade - I would like to see the gun one solid color, I would get a better site Like a Guarder 1X30 Sight, and once you get the R/T get a Revvy or some electric hopper. *To Speedballers* - Please do not come in a WOODSBALL gun Thread if all your going to do is flame it. i was looking at some of those closed red dot sights they use on M4s and stuff, where can I find the one you listed? (I dont really want a scope thing that zooms in like 20x, maybe one that zooms in 1x or 2x). And its performed well since i got it. May not be the fastest gun ever, but my friend sold me the barrell brand new for $10, and thanks, i put alot of work into it. and ill check out those armotechs and fiddle around with the handguard. ------------- Axe in the head, early to bed, Axe in the helmet, a thanks to Helmut... and I support Bush! I have an armotech. One of the best guns I bought.
You can get a sight like the one I was talking about for 95 bucks from redwolf airsoft. 
If you dont want to go with something that expensive Go to www.devilmountainsports.com - www.devilmountainsports.com and get $50.00 BSA Reddot

And yes the TASCO sight is very good for its price. But remember, when you put your gun away, turn the sight off, unlike me. I learned that the hard way. Those batteries are NOT cheap. |

i would suggest for just about any woodsball player not camo paint their marker, youd be much better off getting a ghillie rifle wrap or make your own, i did, its made out of a cut up advantage t-shirt, i made kinda long strips and tied them together. heres pictures

without ther rifle rag is in my sig but i threw that stuff away and bought the rifle wrap which you can buy at opsgear, its awesome so it all depends on whether you want to buy it for 5 bucks or 20 bucks ... oh ya and by the way its a great marker, i understand the stability part with having the front barrel cover or whatever, i like the stock, definitly nice homemade job, r/t will help with speed, but the way i play i dont need that high of bps .. ok i got updated version with rifle rag  -------------

i really dont think painting the gun or adding foliage to it really helps to blend in that mch. IMO, flat black is just as good and looks a bit nicer.
but anyway, isnt that handguard the g36 one? if so, what you need to do inorder to make it blend to ur marker is to get the g36 sight rail to go along the top. That'll pull everything together rather nicely. And as everyone else's been sayin, either paint everything black or paint it all green. |

Silent stealth the gun wraps look good. I use them too but when you need to move its much easier with a camoed gun. I agree not nearly as effective as a good wrap but the wraps have a tendency to get caught on every little branch at just the wrong time. Great for sniping though -------------

Silentstealth- Do you find that the second rifle rag gets stuck on branches or other crap when your playing in a forest? I tried on once and found it did alot. Helmut- As for sights look into the adco e-dot, It's a pretty sweet sight but also pretty pricey. Another question, What kind of barrels on your gun? ya thats why i switched to the burlap, the burlap doesnt get as nearly caught up as the ripped up t-shirt did (even tho it does occasionally, its a lil more realistic, plus it holds real leaves and stuff better, oh ya and it blends with my ghillie suit real nice -------------

I was thinking about getting a Tippman 98c to replace my Spyder Imagine, because I've been doing alot of woodsball recently and my Imagine just isn't cut out for it. I need reccomendations on what kind of stock to get on it, because I'm lacking funds. though I might do like the creator of the topic, and make one. But I'd like to know what kind of sights also, because I might put a .22 rifle scope on it. -------------

g0dhead- Try a red dot scope they work great for short range and somewhat long. If your going to get a scope get something good don't waste your money on a 4x 15mm or anything crappy like that they're useless. I already have a little Bushnell .22 scope, so I didn't really want to spend the money on another scope. And yeah, red-dot scopes ARE awesome. I'll look into it though, see if I can get the extra money. -------------

U can get the g36 rail at opsgear.com tho the stuff they have is made for the A-5 (u may be able to fit on the 98 tho). Im curious; if you have a red dot made for hunting/airsoft, if it gets hit by a piantball, wont it break? I use the adco sureshot which can withstand a paintball but all these other ones im seein people put on their guns makes me wonder. |

Godhead- I mad a topic in paintball ideas on how to make the stock, so you can check that out. ProjectLiberate- The barrel is a 12" custom parts or something like that. My friend sold it to me for $10 because the threads didnt fit his Spyder. and I've been experimenting with fishnetting and different strips from T-shirts, burlap, etc. Its pretty cool. Usually a Speedball gun is shiney and stuff, so it would give away your position more, but you can play woods with a speedball gun. Camo just helps you out.
