About how long did it take?? Its been like a week since i ordered.

I ordered a .45 grip VSC Phantom, however i would occasionally use a 3.5 oz co2 tank and 100 round hopper.

Also do you use Ball Detents, cause i didnt order them and wont be any time soon, and i heard that the balls roll out, this is a big problem??? I heard that if you get a pretty big bore paint like around 688-691 it wont roll out(like PMI or Marbs Paintballs) is this true??

Besides all that i cant wait till i get my brand new phantom

I sold that KP2 for $420 after shipping on eBay a few months ago. I still wihs I hadn't... I miss that thing. The Hammer 2 is one of three that I know of. One guy on Kingman has one, and another guy - that's it. I wish I had more of those, they are great shooters.

It took mine like 3 weeks or so to get mine.

And I just ordered my ball detent set so I can use different size paint because the balls do roll out. I've been using big ball and some different draxxus paint and their pretty small. Anyways, it probualy would be best to get the detent set.

Speedball with a pump is so much fun.

I took the spring off my Phantom pump too. It just makes the pump alittle lighter. No spring in last, more recent pic. I also took off the dot site..it didn't help me at all.

does it really matter? the fact is, it's a lot of fun to play with a pump, it brings an entirely new aspect to the game. Granted, it is more fun when you can get people out with an "inferior" marker, but that's not the point. You have to look for angles, perfect your snap shooting, and move at just the right moment, because the truth is you are massively outgunned, and the only way you can win is by out thinking and out playing your opponent.

Layman: I had AM do the ano, its one of a kind and I really like the trace on the milling. They used to have it on their site under custom jobs, but they have since reformated and gottin rid of that section.

^^Just remember that it is more strategy based than your average semi game. Look more than shoot, and don't get discouraged by getting your butt handed to you the first few times.

Don't forget luck. I could post a pic of my VSC phantom but there'd be no point.

Only thing I don't like about playing pump is that it's near impossible to hit someone running across your field of vision. You have to lead the target so much with a paintball gun it's pretty annoying.

Now if i had a faster gun, I'd just put up a lane of paint and watch him squirm.

it's all about you man. I have been pwned by a BLADE! Get something that is comfortable to you, and within your price range. If you see someone playing pump, tell them you are interested; then ask if you can shoot it. If they seem cool - ask to play a game with it. Just remember to treat it well if they let you play w/it. Nothing cheeses me more than a guy digging my brass barreled stuff into the ground playing hard. (only a 3 out of 10 really, but come on!)

"High end" is more like Carters, Illusions and Palmers if you ask me. Personally, if I had not gotten an Illusion, I would have opted for a nice Palmer SS, but then again I am more comfortable with stacked tube markers. If you like light, small, inline markers, you really cant go wrong with a phantom.

^^^^^If you have a chance to get one deffinatly do it, it is a very good gun rock solid for not a lot of money. But the only aftermarket barrel I have seen for it is a 14 inch jj ceramin at countypaintball.com. mind you that is a very good barrel, but still one of a very few options. I for one have never had a problem with the stock barrel on mine.
Have a nice day

Edit; Sorry, this post was meant for jyon_sniper, you just posted faster than me pump guy.

Are you talking about the Phantom? cause Palmers dont have removable barrels. Anyway, currently available barrels for the Phantom that I know of are just about anything from J&J, you can even get the edge system. Also, some amounts of lapcos were made, but I'm not sure how many of each was made.

There's only one, the 14 inch Ceramic.

^^ you can get a 12" too, and most any airsmith (or anyone who has a lathe and can use it) can turn down a barrel to fit.

They aren't threaded, so like PumpGuy said; they would have to have the threads turned down.

A gun is not a weapon... It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator.
