Thanks guys. Yeah I spent a wad of cash but what the hell. I am going for looks and this seemed to be the right match for some performance also. I guess I have could have went with another marker but I like the woods play and those other markers look like something out of star trek. Good Im glad I made some right choices.

Please keep the suggestions and comments comming. I need to be held. My wallet hurts mommy.

Thats a lot of nuts! Quote from Kung Pow movie.

Absolutley no crimpin here. Pimpin maybey, no crimpin.  This is my first thread. Except for a Ariakon post. Obviously I chose the A-5. Im just looking for tips and guidence on this sport and my gear.  Like I said, I reached A LOT. iRead all the "stickeys" first, then made my move. Im making sure that I stay IN and ON topic. I realize that posts are for the real deal.  So Im trying to get the respect from my peeps (you guys) at the same time learning as much as I can. Keep the comments and suggestions rollin. Thanks.

It cant be done because of the feed neck size. but i think that ricochet is working on a a5 hopper.

Good to know.  The remote i got has a black plastic hose. It can stretch across across my back. Is this type better that then metal braded ones? Now im reading that the metal one is stronger and I made a mistake.

the coiled remote is better because the gas can expand in the hose, but in the steel one it cant.

The coiled remotes are strong, no worrys about breaking. Mines still good and I do anythign with it.

Not really. A good warp setup or a HALO would be just as good or better than the cyclone.

Yes it can be done. Takes some serious modifications, but it CAN be done.

OK thanks again. Im stickin with the coil i got.  Right on Glassjaw. It is sweet. And its treating me well.  Paintball soldier, I spent the money because I could.  I realize NOW that I could have gotten this kit for less. But I think for the FIRST time around I did good with @ least putting together a decent marker. The post by Mike Barch directing me to opsgear was key. If you want to see a picture of my marker go to  http://store.yahoo.com/opsgear/aircomagunsh.html - http://store.yahoo.com/opsgear/aircomagunsh.html . Thats her. Thanks again fella's. I would like to ask why that is considered more gun than he can handle?  Is it because of the cost?  I have seen many folks here look down on newer players that have purchased (however they got them) high-end guns simply for doing so.

I understand that this kind of resentment goes hand-in-hand sometimes and it seems to be the case more often than not.  If someone was learning how to golf, and had the means to buy a top-of-the-line set of PING clubs, then why not do it?  Do they have to start out with a bottom-of-the-line set, just to please all those who couldn’t afford it when they started?

My point is; why is this too much for this person?  It seems to me that a tricked-out A-5 is a decent beginners/mid-range gun.  Quite frankly, I don’t see any justification for why someone has to “work at it” to “deserve” high-end gun.  Yes, I know that there have been threads like this before, but to tell you the truth, none of them have ever given any real justification to that particular point of view.

The bottom line is that if someone is responsible enough to handle a paintball gun, and can afford it, then why not?

It sounds like a cool-looking gun and he should post a picture when he gets a chance.

..... go die

i think if he has the money and hes just starting out then he made a fine choice, in getting the a-5 hes getting a gun that he can learn with and that will most likely last him however long he wants it to, but if he got a high end gun and just sprays and prays everytime he goes out to play and doesnt take time to get any skill then he's just considered a tournament player

I couldn't have said it better myself.

RELAX guys, whats the dilly? Why all the drama?  Last I checked this was the NEW PLAYER FORUM

Anyway, To answer THE HO with a link to the Micro max loader cup, here it is: http://www.store.yahoo.com/opsgear/tia5mimaxloc.html - http://www.store.yahoo.com/opsgear/tia5mimaxloc.html

My question was do they make a 20 count pod to compliment this loader and my harness? Thanks.

While I can't answer your question (sorry) I can compliment you on your purchase. Bold move as a new player, but a wise one I think. I like the the look of it and you should have tons of fun playing. Good luck.

By the way this Mini Max loader kit PREVENTS you from spray and pray tactics.  You have to be patient and engage your Tango  selectively with this set up. It probably should be standard issue for a nubee (like myself). Thanks again RAVE5910.

Im not flaming him, I think it's grate the he is rely into the sport. What I ment was, being new I would have not bought so much so fast... I dont care what you say, any pro will tell you that you should get used to what you got first, and upgrade slowly...

Thanks guys, I guess i got jist of it. Judging by the responses I have created some feelins out there.  Its allllllllll good. I made some right choices and maybe spent too much, but thats besides the point. I got the RIGHT stuff.  I guess I have higher standards than the average newbee.  Ill send a picture next week here. I have and will continue to learn from your responses.
