Enough favortie song threads already, one more won't hurt.

What is your favorite song without lyrics?  Instrumentals are ok.

My first is Pink Floyd's "The Great Gig In The Sky" (the screaming dosen't count), and second is either their song "One of These Days", or their song "Marooned", and "Carefull With That Axe, Eugene" brings up third.

The Great Gig in the Sky is a piano, steel gituar, and Clare Torry screaming her lungs out.  Nice.  Instrumentals are ok.

What Pump Scout and Tolgak said, mixed with the vast majority of movie themes (I'm partial to the Stargate soundtrack).

Excellent choice. Orion is by far Metallica's best instrumental. Call of Ktulu is pretty cool too. My favorite instrumental has to be Chromatic Fantasy or Portrait of Tracy by Jaco Pastorius.

Call of Ktulu would be my next choice, it's pretty good, but nothing can beat Orion in my opinion

It's insane. I know it sounds like some emo stuff or something, but it's actually not at all. It's genuinely good and moving instrumental music, try some of it, Kaki King is a genius when it comes to guitar.
