Well, a few weeks ago when SeaWolf made a thread of Texas Hold'em, Multicolored J (sp?) suggested to play partypoker, and now I'm addicted. Anyway, I was just wondering, if anyone here plays it, what their screennames are? They changed it all up recently... I used to play the $25 buy-in NL game, but I don't see that one around anymore.

Free unless you want to play with real money. Then you need, well, real money. And that, of course, is where the real action is. Playing with fake money tends to skew the action a bit.

PartyPoker (and most other online casinos) have "play money" games and real money games. Signing up is free, playing with play money is free. Once you want to bet actual dollars, however, you have to bring actual dollars...

Sandman, there is a site which you can list your name and tell your location and other people in your area can e-mail you telling you about homegames and such. Pfft, spent like half of an hour to get into a playmoney tourny to see what it was like... finally got one, a 10 buy in +1 for fee, and only got 50 chips for winning... what a waste of time.
