Im sure some of you have acne, I used to but I went to a dermatologist and he perscribed me a pill called Acutaine. This is the most advanced, most effective medicine for acne. It works wonders, the pill dries out your oil glands in your pores so your face doesnt get oily which is the main cause of blemishes. You have to stay on the pill for 6 months and it is worth the wait. If you want to get rid of your acne I would highly suggest looking into this. -------------

hmm i've never tried medication, but non of those cleaners or anything works for me, although I dont get acne that bad How much is it? -------------

What threads are not pointless these days? Its kind of expensive, but only a dermatologist can write you a perscription to get it. I have good insurance so I only had to pay 10 bucks for a month's supply. They do have a generic called Amnestien that works just as well and is a little cheaper. -------------

Well i guess alot of poeple have this problem i do just not that bad anymore i use this stuff called retina the doctor told me to use it it is working pritty good well i have to wait for 6weeks for full results it has be like two and i'm getting good results i like this stuff you sould try it i don't no how much it cost my insurance covered it and i have the insurance that you get when your parntes are in the milltary forgot the name. ------------- *A paint ball gun is only as good as the person useing it* *my paint ball gun is unstopable* Tippmann 98c fund ($128/250) |

im 16 and have never had bad acne. I usually only get it on my
nose and on the side but never more then a few zits, and these are no
monsters; they are like pin head size. the pads work fine for me
and i dont use them all the time.

Acutaine is a little harsh. I used Tetra Cycline(sp), the same
medication they use to treat Lime Disease (sp). It doesnt
cause any pain. The only reson I used it was my chin and all the
areas around my mouth were covered with acne, making playing a Tuba a

ok i will rephrase it.....Mbro, if you had acne, your ugliness rate would be over the ugly limit on the forum so you wouldnt be able to put your picture in your sig. The sig you have now is already pushing the limits. Make sure to read it carefully now -------------

i worship fast food and ice cream so sometimes i have bad breakouts. i use benzoyl peroxide 20% and my mom gets this weird soap that has papaya extract in it and its like solid acid. works good though -------------

^lol ya. any of you football playas know how bad you get acne on your chin, from that dang strap. thats the only acne i get, and its only june-january, its not toooo bad tho... ------------- me and my friends have won 1st in 3 out of 3 5 man airball tournaments in the rookie division, woot! i think im on that tetrecyclin stuff and the retina and it works fine... few mild break outs but nothing to bad.. but football is coming tomarow and ill see how it goes threw that. i think with the stuff im on ill do fine ------------- Gogged_86 |

Actually, I have found when you need get rid of facial hair, and you dont have a razor, a zippo works great. Heh. Acutaine... Not good.
I used the stuff. It started to get rid of the acne I had... Unfortunately, it also made my lips crack to the point that they were almost bleeding (even while putting prescription-strength lip-balm on while I was asleep). When I was done taking it, my skin went right back to the way it was, except it was really dry around my mouth. About 6 months after I stopped taking it, my skin cleared up much better than it was during the time I was using it (and including the time immediately afterward. Acutaine can also cause liver problems, high colesteral, brain damage, and other nasty side-effects. Moral of the story: Acutaine is overrated. -------------

Yeah my lips got pretty dry too, and i found out from experience......if you drink while you are on acutaine you get wasted way faster than when you were not on acutaine  -------------
