what do you guys think about milling the ball chamber in the link below?  do u think that it will waste gas in any way or would the gas that is venting be excess gas? just tell me what you think.

As the ball is fired, the action is blown back. The bolt comes out of the barrel while there is still residual pressure from firing the ball. this pressure has no where to go but back up the feed tube blowing the balls back into the hopper.

Recently I bought an http://home.comcast.net/~k.zoellner/KevinZ_m98.html - M98 , just to mill the gills.

Yes it helps keep the balls going in the right direction, no it does not waste gas.
