He is guilty. However I think he will walk. its funny but it seems the DA/justice system/courts in CA mess everything up...remember OJ or the mendenez bros?

So many people get killed, I think that it funny how it's always the cute blonde/blue eyed little girl that gets all the attention from the media when the little wel-fare kid that lives in a trailer park is never even mentioned. Oh that's right, they arent as important. stupid media. Oh yeah, guilty and convicted.

well he was having an affair. He lied several times. He decided he didn't want to give up his lifestyle so he killed his preagneant wife. He said that he was fishing on the day she went missing but he had the wrong gear and no real fisherman would fish that day. her body came up in the same place where he said he was fishing. He rented porn because he knew his wife wouldn't come back. There are the taped phone conversations.

 Guilty

I think it's interesting that he can even get what they call a "fair" trial. The media had already accused, tried, and convicted him before he was even arrested.

I also find it interesting that you are all so sure he's guilty solely because the media gave you some one-sided "evidence."
This whole thing has been a big circus from the start.

Gotta go with Bunkered on this one... it'd be nice to hear the real evidence in the case and not sound bites and/or hype. Most of the "evidence" I've been hearing about has been primarily rumor-mill stuff.

But since the media is my only readily-available source (being the lazy man that I am), I'd say the prosecutions case is thus far speculation and conjecture with no substance. They have yet to establish a clear motive; each week they have a new reason, meaning that they likely have no solid case and are instead trying to bury him under theories in the hopes that the jury bites on one.

His phone conversations with Ms. Frey are, at best, prejudicial, and contain no direct evidence or statement of his guilt and/or innocence. Their only purpose is to make the jury not like him.

The fishing trip? He may be a fisherman, but to this day I just cast a worm on a hook into the water and hope something bites... I have no idea what I might haul in. If he's a fishing enthusiast then maybe this evidence holds some merit. Laci's hair in ihs tackle box? Some of you may remember me talking about my last girlfriend, and believe me when I tell you that her hair was in EVERYTHING I owned, even things she never handled; you couldn't escape it.

I heard a rumor that he was arrested with a large amount of cash and a passport in his pocket. Can anyone confirm if this is true or not?

Bottom line: he may be guilty, and he should fry if he is, but I don't see it from what I've heard thus far.

Rant over.

Of course he's guilty and deserves multiple life sentences with no chance of parole.

He dyed his hair and I think hewas in mexico when they caught him, he said he was fishing for stuergon but didn't have the right gear.

That evidence is quite circumstantial...
Also, he was not in Mexico, he was near the border. He also said he was playing golf (he had his clubs). Some of the golf courses out there are mighty expensive (like $300 for a round).

Maybe he's just not a smart fisherman and doesn't know what gear to use?
None of what you said could be classified as anything NEAR solid evidence. Remember, they must be able to prove, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that he is guilty.

yeah he'll get convicted. it's weird because on the news a long while back, it said that someone had spotted a lady with a dog like lacy peterson's and looked like her and had the same outfit on that she wore when she went missing! that threw me waay off. that would be really scary. see someone who is missing. i dont know what ever happened with that matter but i still think he'll get convicted.
