yup this week i started hs. its pretty kool but i hate how the halls are so crowded that im always late. my middle school teachers always said theyre getting me ready for high school but its not as big and scary as they said. but man, one good thing thats a big improvement from my middle school is the girls are fine! the girls at my ms didnt deserve to be called girls... seriously. but yeah, anyone else start hs this month? -------------

Be a jerk like me and just push everyone out of the way. It's the district's own fault for being retarded and allowing more students than their should be in the school facility...Shouldn't there be a fire code or law against crowded halls? -------------

yea and its especially hard for me when i get dissmissd from class i have 5 mins to get to my locker and then through the crowd of like 1000 kids to my next class. damn crowds -------------

well i am fortunate enough to have had a brand new school built only 5min from my house. but my old HS has appx. 2900 students. i was always pushing through people. it sucked. especially last year (sophmore year) a whole rack of new freshman came up (about 700). my freshman yeas wasnt nearly as bad. was never late to a class either year i was at that school. and yes, the girls in highschool are very nice.  -------------

| im getting really tired of Freshman we have 1000 of the little ****'s (starts and ends in the same letter) we had a dance tonight and i would have gone if it wasnt the first dance, and a lot of freshman go to it. instead Ike, Mike, my two brothers and I are going to fork the football field at 0100 (2 hours away). |

Hehe, you should see my school. The kids are so obbsesed with any card game. Sometimes they loose cards and I find them and sell them back to people. Started last week as a junior. I'm pretty much used to navigating through such crowds, even when the entire thing is going the opposite way.
The best way to do it is to constantly scan for open spots and the ones behind them. You literally shoud stay on your toes so that you can quickly push your body one way if somebody steps into your way. If there's a wall with nothing agains it, head to that wall and stick your shoulder no more than 6 inches from the wall. Then people start trying to avoid you instead of you avoiding them. What really ticks me off is when people walk in lines and there really is no gap to go through. So you grab your favorite freshman and push them through the line. JK -------------

Starting Sophmore year on the 1st, at our school, the halls are a lot wider than usual so the crowds aren't that bad here. The halls at my school are extremely crowded, but I've never been late. The best way to do it is to carry books for all of your classes before lunch in your backpack, then switch out to your afternoon classes after lunch.
One stop at your locker before school, one in the middle, and one after (maybe). -------------

the hot girls thing is the first thing i noticed. and crowded halls and hot chicks make for ass slaping fun!
and im gona have fun playing billiards with the freshmen.. you walk down a hall with 3 people 2 in the front about 3 1/2 feet between you the other goes in the back in the middle. one of the two front guys checks him into the other who bounces him to the back guy who gets him into the left side of the hall and he gets carryed away with the crowd. or you just play chickin and dont move out of the way and turn the same way they turn until you run into him ------------- Forumers ageinst stuff that sucks |

have like 4 really tough classes. Not so much the class, as the
teacher. For Chem, my teacher makes me memorize the periodic table. :(

I hate sofmores who think they are better then freshmen. 9th and 10th graders suck, 11th is ok, because they start to realize to keep their mouths shut, and seniors are just seniors, and they dont care...

Yeah. I think I've been to my locker once in all of my high school time. I'm going to be a senior.
I just always carried my books with me in my book bag. Then again, we have block scheduling, so it was never more than 4 classes of stuff per day. And usually it was 2 core classes (math, science, eng., history) per day. Welcome to High School. Hopefully your 4 years will be better than mine. |

I start this month. On the 31st, which is our "book day." All I have to do is go in at 8, get my schedule, get my books, and hang out with my friends. I will be home and back in bed by 0930.
This year I will be a senior too. Last year I just took up pushing my way through the halls. I wait for nobody, even if they are bigger than me. Took about half a year, and now everyone just moves out of the way. Everyone once in awhile you got the one kid who thought he could fight back. They are no big deal either. Just grab their shirt collar real quick and look right in their eyes and say "don't even think about it." They get the idea that you are serious, even if you arent. Have fun! -------------

I'm with Tolgak.
My school has enough people in it to overrun Asia, and they ALL go to the same classes at the same time. I can look and it'll literally be clear on one side of the school and a giant traffic jam on the other side. This is part of the reason I'm going to Charter School starting Monday. No hallways . Just classrooms facing outwards, completely open. ------------- Is God real? You'll find out when you die.

I forgot to ask this in my other post...
They let you carry backpacks around there? No schools in my area are allowed to carry bags to classrooms. Girls aren't even supposed to have purses or anything like that. Ever since Columbine (sp?) they have said backpacks are too bad for our backs to carry all day.. Sorta stupid IMHO because you are only carrying it for the 5-15 minutes between classes. -------------
