im kinda short on $ but want a new comp. ive decided to build an ok one instead of buying an iffy one.

i have a mouse, and a hard drive already. im planing on picking up a moniter and trying 2 find an old hd with an os on it ... its gunna be getto but it will be fun to be able 2 play games agen this comp im on now has 850mhz processor

o ya i guess what im asking is if someone can look over it and check to see if i need anything else and if the stuff i picked will work together...i plan on running xp home

edit: i have an OLD mac (early 80s) that has a power cord i can use...

No offense Merc, but just the other day you were on here asking advice about installing and setting up a HDD on your existing computer. Maybe you're not ready to be building your own just yet.

i know im nub but it dosent seem hard to plug stuff in and after its pluged in all i have to do is install things

Don't know what parts to get and you honestly think you can put one together from scratch? Hehe... Good luck. You're going to need it.

Let us know what your RMA numbers are on all the parts you have to return to the manufacturers. Then let us know if they find out you burned it out yourself and deny your warranty claim. I'd be interested to hear about that for all the other folks who might make the same mistake in the future.
