tippmann sniper rifle?

Are you talking about the 98c/a5 sniper package? If so than its cheaper to just buy all the parts seperate.

Also you will quickly be out of this sniper phase, so dont buy any upgrades around it. We all want to be a sniper when we first start playing but after a few times out everyone realizes that its 100% useless in paintball.

Pros:

Flatline barrel, Remote.

Cons:

With the stock where it is, there's no way to aim the marker using the sights. The stock is so high up, that with a mask on, it's near to impossible to use the rear sight.

That's really all there is to it. It's a stock 98 with a remote line, stock and a flatline barrel. 3 upgrades. I personaly am not a fan of the setup, but if you DO decide to go with that particular setup, you may want to consider a raised sight rail.

it wouldn't be inaccurate if you matched paintball caliber size with the barrel and stocks aren't that heavy u can get those hard plastic light ones for 50.00

Hmm, well the main con is of course the stock, if I were you, I would look for a gas through stock, I think you can get one here http://www.xtremez.com/paintball/product_information.asp?number=STKDF&variation=&aitem=2&mitem=&back=yes&dept=63 - http://www.xtremez.com/paintball/product_information.asp?num ber=STKDF&variation=&aitem=2&mitem=&back=yes &dept=63

because when I used a stock on my friends "stealth" package, it was kind of hard to look down the sights.  A big pro is it can go reasonably far, and it looks fairly nice.

The 98c Sniper Package is ok but, there are 2 things that I really dont like bout that package....1. the remote line goes directly to the power tube, theres always a chance you can accidently damage the remote line and it is uncomfortable also, it prevents the user from puttin the marker down without having a quick disconnect in between games. 2. the car stock is useless as well, sure you can steadily hold the marker when shooting but, it prevents the user from actually aiming the marker wit a mask on and the user would have to get a raised sight rail in order to actually aim the marker.

Now, if you really want to put a stock on yer 98c, get the gas thru stock, the stock can be mounted at the bottom of the grip and wit this you are able to aim the marker without gettin a raised sight rail and also you are able to aim wit the mask on.

Infact, I jus installed a similair stock on my 98c that I bought from the pro-shop in my city fer $36.00 and its made out of aircraft aluminum but, its not a gas thru, the air adapter on mine is mounted below and lil more forward like a drop and its connected wit a quik disconnect remote also wit a slide check fer easy and fast disconnects without losing any air from the tank and Im able to place my 98c down without any problems.

As fer the Flatline, its really easy to install and everyone already knows it will out distance any barrel (rifled or not) on the market and it does have its drawbacks and you would need to use smaller quality paintballs fer the Flatline to avoid any breaks.
